Thank you! 🙏🏽 Glad you enjoyed it. I have an Akaso Ek7000. So that’s what I ended up using.

Nice overview! Just an FYI runway 10/28 has been closed for a while now. The plan is to build a terminal on it to supplement and grow the existing facilities. Also the REM (a new light metro network) is building a station right at the front of the existing terminal so travelers can take a train to downtown in 20 minutes. It’s opening in 2027 apparently.

Thank you! 🙏🏽 Oh wow I didn’t know plans to make a new terminal there! That’s great and it will really expand the services for YUL. Oh wow! And I didn’t know about plans for a REM station too! I remember it used to be a solid 40 mins of an Uber ride from downtown for me every week! So now with the metro connectivity, it will be AMAZING for folks like me who fly to Montreal often ❤️❤️

@@ByteSizedJourneys yes, it’s part of a $4 Billion expansion plan. The “terminal” probably will expand along the now closed runway 10/28 in following phases. I have this video link which is in French but it’s very visual in description. The terminal is no.6 as the video goes through the phases. Also, Porter airlines is building a terminal at St Hubert airport, now renamed Montreal Metropolitan Airport. They plan to make it a domestic hub similar to Toronto Island Airport. They can only fly domestically but they plan up to 11 routes out of it as far as Vancouver. It’s all quite exciting. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z5hotcRwkZvScbA.htmlfeature=shared I found another video, again only in French unfortunately, but there are more extensive renderings of the plans shown as the interview with the airport head goes on. kzread.info/dash/bejne/rKylzrGlmsrKc8o.htmlsi=YPXKRetQuIut80Vb

@@caribbb woahhhh, that sounds like a LOT of good development in the last few years that I have been away from my second from for now 😂 But it’s soo good that they have development at the St. Hubert airport! Wasn’t it a military airport mostly?

@@caribbb I just watched that video that you linked. I can read French and I honestly did not know there was such a massive expansion plan for Montreal. I am genuinely happy that this is happening ☺️ Come to think of it now, I believe I was surprised by the area where the Carlos Pepe’s is now located inside YUL; I remember that area was under construction in 2018-19.

@@ByteSizedJourneys I’m blown away by the expansion too but we’ve been adding new airlines every year, Qatar, Emirates, Copa, Air China, Turkish, Arajet and this year Sun Country (starts in July), Avianca (to 2 cities) and for the first time (and finally) United mainline.. we’ve had their Express airlines forever but never United itself. They will fly from San Francisco. In short passenger numbers have gone way up. Air Canada has pushed the growth in Montreal by opening up countless new routes to Europe, Africa, Asia (India) and South America. It’s really because of them this expansion is needed. The airport Porter is building is really being developed IMO because there’s no room for them to expand at YUL. Westjet could never get Montreal going for the same reason. Anyways all good stuff. I only wish for similar success in Toronto and other Canadian cities too. We’re all in this together.
