Monthly Borderlands Line Freight review during April 2024
Lot going on during the month, DB Cargo took back the steel workings from Margam Tc to Dee Marsh Junction after GBRfs contract expired. Bit of a red mass of colour now but a lot more different locos throughout the month

The Pen y Ffordd to Avonmouth Cement started the month with 66715, went light engine to Doncaster and replaced by 66763 which come from hams hall
Change on the RTC during April, pair of tractors instead of 73s. 37607 & 37610 did the honours. Pleasant surprise
37884 went down to Birkenhead North depot to pick up a Merseyrail unit but came back empty handed !!

Yes a change from the 73’s Just didn’t manage the drag end of the month due to work commitments Apart from that happy with everything. The first shot in pen y Ffordd was the first DB Cargo run
