@@barrymcgee3442 not true at all I do dealer financing for a living your credit is run once and then that application is submitted to a few banks that match the profile of your credit you got lucky in your situation but dealers give you the best chance at the lowest rate because of the amount of business we give the banks now if you do financing with say Ford finance or dodge they aren't the greatest idea because the rate will be high manufacturers don't have the best credit so they pass their high rate onto you no matter the credit

I just bought my very first car this weekend. 2018 Charger Scat Pack. I'm 27 and worked construction all my life. Since buying the car some people say I just had money burning a hole in my pocket and that's not it at all. @@Fords_N_Fishin responsible has nothing to do with how cheap of a car you choose to drive. not everyone likes the risk of investing and If he has the income why drive a cheaper car when he can purchase what he wants? He said he pays more than his monthly minimum to save on interest which is a very responsible thing for someone of his age to be doing. So many of My clients pay the minimum but end up paying more in interest long term. I don’t know his living situation but if he wanted to move out, I’m sure he could.

@@SiriusOmens my point is paying an interest rate on a vastly depreciating asset (one that costs over 45k) is a setback in the long run of life. Spending 2k a month on a car isn’t an ideal thing to do

I'm retired and live on a fixed income. I bought my first Challenger in June 2016. My interest rate was 1.3% for 60 months. I paid it off in 18 months. In Sept 2019 I decided it was time to upgrade so i bought a 2019 Challenger WB Scatpack 392 Hemi. My interest was 2.7% for 60 months. I paid it off in 22 months. When i fill up at 3/4 of a tank it costs me no less than $50.00. He is so right about the low mileage. How you drive makes a BIG difference. The more you burn out the faster your tires will need replacing and they aren't cheep. Like you video. Keep on making good ones like this one.

@@thatredcam I had a 2015 v6 mustang and then a 2018 mustang gt. The gas differencr really isn't an issue, altogether if you're not racing everyday, you're at most paying the price if an extra tank fo gas per month.

Tip: In the case you do buy the used, check service records and take your hand (if possible) and rub the inside of the fender behind the wheel to make sure there is no rubber pieces. You can also use a flashlight to try to see if there are any chunks that stick out.

@@Bill-bi7sk burnouts are one thing but going to meets constantly and participating in the pit messes with a whole bunch of issues regarding more than the tires. The rubber was a sign that the car has been abused 🤣

1,300 a month is crazy bro.. but I love the honesty! I just bought a 2016 Red Scatpack charger at 22 years old with low mileage. I pay 475 a month for my payment and I pay 99 a month for insurance. Get insurance under your parents if possible, it makes a HUGE difference! Also putting a good chunk of money down helps with the payments.

Not really I get 10mpg on a 2016 ram single cab and I drive it like a grandpa most of the time. These newer v8 dodge cars/trucks eat a ton of gas.

Man thats crazy bro. I got myself a Kia stinger about 450/month and insurance about 110/month with 24mpg might not sound as good as the scatpack but performance really close. Badge don’t bother me.

I'm a dodge salesman and this some good education for some people shopping, wished a lot more people knew what you know.

All good tips bro. I did the same thing for my 2020. Built it exactly how I wanted and walked away paying 47k out the door with only 5k down. Another tip for anybody who looking, it’s best to try and wait till dodge does the Power Dollars deal. You get almost 5k off from factory and that helps a bunch. Good video bro 💯💪🏾

@@bobbob-sw5km I really can’t say but from what I know is that not anytime soon there is power dollars right now but it’s only 1,500 before it was 4,850 but what will happen is when the 2022 come out the power dollars will go back up for the 2021 to 4,850 and the 2022 will be at 1,500 that’s how it was this year the 2020 models had the 4,850 if you ordered them but the 2021 only has the 1,500

Unlike other people this dude actually says how much his monthly payments are. Respect. You be seeing other vids where they just round up or make you figure things out yourself.

You make a good point, I never finance a vehicle through the dealership, their interest rates be way too high. If you have a financial institution that you have a good relationship with, then they will pretty much give you a loan at a decent rate.

Good tip for insurance, try getting one under your parents, it'll be a lot cheaper, if your parents aren't an option, ask an older friend, cousin, or someone you know, that has a good driving record to place their name on their insurance as one of the drivers, it doesn't affect them at all, just brings your payment down 👍

Very true and honest video for any young adult out their trying to get their dream car . Personally average/ good credit goes a good amount of ways, but like bro stated in the video, they wanna see that prof of income. If you can finesse anywhere between 4-9k a month for 3 months to a year and longer you’ll have any car you want aswell as your credit will exponentially grow through the journey. Deposits are nice too it gets them GREEN.

Secondary advise if you have less than 4k a month but average more than 1.5k DONT go for a new big dealership, they will laugh at you with no co-sign and with one they still will short change you on the experience and you will be limited. If you can’t buy what you want new than Finance Used ! I was let in the door by a dealership who did the upmost to put me in their car I wanted and could not have gotten without them working “their tricks” never missed a payment and now the rest is history. Any car dealer will take me. My first finance car is a 16 cla Mercedes My second finance car is 16 Range Rover evoque

Bro, I’m 25 just started my credit and got quoted for about 23% APR. Had got gifted a black 2020 scat with red calipers, sunroof and lug locks, with 6k miles for about $46k but got rid of it for a truck now I’m regretting it so bad. Building your credit will save you so much in the long run. I went to another dealership and built one a gave them the info and they quoted me (with $30k down) at $286/month for 72 months. I ain’t good at math so I pulled out my calculator and thats about $20k extra. I’m done trying ti buy shit until I get perfect credit. You do you but I ain’t tryna go over $500/month because your job ain’t guaranteed/i live in the middle of nowhere, and ain’t a lot of place paying $700/week around here like where I work. Keep up that hustle though brother.

Nice car bro. I had a 21 WB scatpack challenger was paying $650 a month at 1.5%. My insurance was $150 a month. But my gas was like $400 a month. Kept it for 6 months and took it back. Loved the car but with gas prices so high its just not worth the money. Couldn't stand stopping for gas 2x a week. Was dropping more $$ on the car than I was on my house 😆

@@meatball4409 if I couldn't afford the car, I wouldn't have been able to buy it. Bottom line is it's not a good daily. It's about is it worth it and practical. And for me the answer ended up being no. An expensive car that only gets 8 miles a gallon that also handle poorly just isn't worth the investment as a primary car imo.

My boy paying a whole ass mortgage with car note and insurance! I was contemplating about getting a scat pack or a mustang GT but the prices they going for now I'll hold off on it. Just a couple of things here.... First off, anyone interested in this type of vehicle shouldn't be worried about gas mileage, or insurance costs. Also, with regards to monthly payments..... I'd advise anyone to sit down with a financial advisor before signed up for a long-term vehicle loan. Other than that, please drive it responsibly on the street.

Yeah it’s crazy cause I always thought newer would be more but it’s actually the same price as a used one also when you order a car ask your dealer if they are doing to sell you the car at msrp say you get the packages you want on the car and it comes out to like 54k ask if they vehicle will be sold to you msrp and not marked up because they shouldn’t mark your car up since you are waiting damn near 3 months for the car my dealer did not mark my car up. Also if you go to a dealer right now and try to buy one of there lot a scat a basic model with no packages just a Widebody I’ve seen they cost more then one when you build it because the ones in there lot are always marked up. I also recommend getting pre approved through your bank. Saves you on dealer fees and credit inquiries showing up on your credit history and affecting your score

Pro tip: if your bank is still giving you a pretty high rate, you can go to a credit union. They average at like a 4% interest rate

Put it on eco mode if it’s your daily. It will feel like a v6, but it will save a little on gas. I get 14-26 mpg on my hellcat, 26 on the highway.

thanks and yeah i already do but the thing is since it dont really get high way miles my mpg miles are low because i drive short distances in city they are low it dont have a chance to go up but when i do get on highway it gets back to normal 💯👍🏽👍🏽 and 26 highway on a hell cat 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Thanks and nice good deal also mine are city miles I’m not pushing the pedal at all I’m not driving like a crazy person I’ve had my scatpack for 1 Year and 1 month I only have 5,000 miles barely drive it and it hardly sees the freeway so when I only drive around the city that’s the mpg it only registers so it’s real low cause I don’t drive it for long 👍🏽
