Just a idea that has worked for me and saved on money. If you buy your own ham and turkey breast and cheese blocks, you slice them and they work just as well. You can control what you put in the meat as well. Feel better soon and have a safe happy 4th.

Agreed I buy big blocks of cheese and shred them myself and whole pieces of meats and slice it myself

Yes! My grandmother had one. We even used it to slice beef for bulgogi and philly cheese steaks.

I read somewhere that people would take a picture of their grocery list so that if they didn't grab the grocery list, they still had a copy of it on their phone.

I never use my phone for lists. Actually I only use my phone for phone calls. Never take my phone when I go out. It just sits on the table and most of the time it just goes flat.

It’s time for momma bell to purchase a meat slicer 🤍🤍🫶🏽 I bought one and it saves soooo much money, for some reason when you buy the whole meat it’s cheaper. Great grocery haul ✨ Before I was adopted I was starved as a little girl, so grocery day at my adopted mother’s house was a very happy time for me. Seeing her fill her cabinets for us was one of my security highlights 🤍

@@Justthebells10 I did have one- several components to put together and pull apart to wash- but the slicing is fantastic- cooked or raw. We used to buy large hams and beef and we used to do our steaks and freeze them individually As well as slicing meat like ham turkey pork beef. Another good gadget is an electric cutting knife- had that for years and years x

It’s cheaper cause they (butchers) have to put in work to slice and cut the meat.

I’ve been following your family for a while now and i’m amazed. Seeing how good you provide for your family. This is inspirational. Instead of other big family’s who buy mostly junk foods..

I’m in New York. I know that prices for food have gone up everywhere. But honestly, your prices are cheaper than they are here…. It’s a struggle…. Lord, I pray that things get better for the middle class and poor in this country

Sadly it won't. Watch prepper channels. We got to prepare for these End Times. Growing your own food. Get seeds. Stock up Now. Invest gold coins as money will be phased out for digital. currency. Ive had dreams where the Lord has shown me to stock up in bulk. Myself and many of empty shelves. Mathew 24 Jesus warned of famine.Thise easy days. Days of convenience have long ended. I watch Alaska prepper. Also Alaska Granny.

@@friederikemaragela6363 I have been. Making everything from bread to taco seasoning myself…. It’s insane. I can’t afford to live here anymore. And am having trouble finding a place that I can afford somewhere else… My issue is medical. I am fighting 7 uncommon illnesses. It’s hard to find a more affordable place to live with the health care that I need. If anyone knows of a place like this??? Please advise? I would truly appreciate it

I don’t have any land, I’m trying to grow what vegetables I can in pots on my deck. As for rent!!!!!!! I just can’t swing it anymore and I am a widow, I have no where to turn. I always dreamed that when I got older, life would be more peaceful, a little easier. I did all the things, worked, saved…. But with this economy, it just isn’t enough. I know that I am not the only one and it frightens me. I am faithful, and a trying to put it in Gods hands but the struggle is real. There are too many families living in their cars. I never thought that I would be in a situation like this but if it doesn’t get better, I’ll be living in my car too!!!! This country praises and listens to too many people because they are wealthy and not because they are intelligent…. Lord, please have mercy

We keep a cooler in the car all summer. When we go grocery shopping, we stop and get a large bag of ice and have the cooler cooled down by the time we get to the store.

A little hack. When done with your list take a picture of it on your phone. Your brain will tell you…”you won’t forget it” but do it anyway! LOL!! Has saved me many times! People often ask me why I don’t just make my list on the phone? I am a pen to paper girl and I can write MUCH faster😊.

This is why I do grocery pick up/ delivery…I can take my time and add it to app as I come across things I need …..I save so much and stick to a budget…and I don’t have to deal with the crowds! Hope you you feel better

Ours didn’t for a long time…I do pick up mostly unless I know I will be home and then I do delivery……We have to drive about 35 miles for bigger groceries stores if we want better selection with bakery or deli!

Heather, have you seen the marshmellows that have chocolate inside, and they have one that has caramel inside, too? They are so yummy to do smores with them. My grandbabies like them for smores or just to eat.

I also wanted to give you a great tip to help with your congestion you are going to to take a slice of ginger, a wedge of lemon ,honey and let it steep in a mug until the honey melts and slowly drink it and that should help we use to do this in cooking school and it always helped hope it helps out heather ❤

I am from Hawaii I did not know you had a farm I am glad that you have egg farm why don't you make your own mayonnaise I just wanted to know it's not easy but it's saving money you got to use six six eggs and add vinegar and lemon and that's all you have to do is mix it all up send your son work at the grocery store doesn't he get a discount on buying groceries you can use his discountto pay for the food and whatever you say give it to him for allowance😮😅
