This store opened as a Lord & Taylor in 1985, eventually becoming Dillards in 1990, and finally Kohls in 2011. I’m even surprised this elevator lasted through 3 stores, unfortunately now though, this Kohls location is closed, and this building is being turned into an “Elev8 indoor adventure park”. At the time of filming this, I didn’t know this would be my final ride lol. I wonder what’s going to happen with this, I’m hoping it stays original and is just used as a service or something.

Kohl’s is no more here because Elev8 Fun is taking over. Which means Coral Square (my local mall) now has the only mall-anchored Kohl’s in all of the South Florida region, until a potential Sawgrass Mills location comes!
At the end of your video can you show inside the machine room please?
I mean I did check a month or 2 ago. They kinda finished painting outside. I did get a little peek when I went inside the mall, I looked at the little home between the doors and I saw that it was empty.
