Beautiful song, I remember when it came out. I’m a raging drug addict 10 yrs now in recovery, & I’m a living testimony to this song. I was saved by Gods Grace. God bless & god rest the soul of Troy Gentry who passed a few yrs ago in a small plane or helicopter accident. He had an amazing voice in this song, & in all their hits. Man this one took me back in time. Much love, God Bless y’all

The singer without the hat is Troy Gentry, sadly we lost him to a helicopter crash 7 years ago this coming September The Singer with the hat is Eddie Montgomery, he is the older brother to John Michael Montgomery (a fellow country Artist)

saw them in concert at the florida strawberry festival the 1 playing guitae died afew years ago in a helicopter crash

In September of 2022 my baby brother was 1 day of Marine Corp boot camp and was hit a drunk driver while crossing the street. He now has brain damage and will most likely (outside a miracle from Jesus) will ever be completely normal again. Yesterday, the guy who hit him was sentenced to 7 years in prison reduced to 3 years probation. He is now a registered felon and the judge told him that if he messes up just one time then he will go to jail for the full 7 years. A lot of people in my family are upset by the outcome and think the judge was too light on him. All I can do is pray that he recognizes the amount of grace and mercy that the judge and ultimately God showed him and that hopefully that opens the door to Jesus for him. If you guys don't mind saying a prayer for my family members to get some peace and that this young man come to find Christ.
