This ride is not named after the Aztec king it is named after montezumas revenge a type of diarrhea/throwing up travelers can get if exposed to foreign microbes in water while traveling. Therefore riding through the loop can make you feel sick and even throw up similar to the effects of the sickness by the same name

It feels a lot faster when you're on it

This was my first real roller coaster. I was scared to death for going upside down until this ride. when i went on this, i was scared to death. when i got off, i was like "can we go again" :)

And people and places have got smaller. Things change as you age: the ability to ride roller coasters in comfort decreases. I rode Montezuma’s revenge in 1981. I was good for another decade of roller coasters but two was too much. My last experience on a loop roller coaster, fifteen years ago, when I rode with a broken arm, was very unpleasant.

Montezuma’s Revenge was one of my reasons for travelling, back in 1981. I had no idea it was only about two years old. Perfect safety record but after more than forty years operation major work is not unexpected.

My dad use to operate Montezuma's revenge and he said he loved the ride to death! Me and him recently rode it during summer of 2021.

This ride was awesome when I was 7 and still awesome at 37.

GP will probably think this thing is unsafe

I miss this ride

I showed my little sister this POV and she was like "yeah ill ride" it and then she saw that the track ended and she was like "uhh never mind" and me and my mom were dying laughing

I got distracted at the beginning of the ride and stupidly forgot to put my head against the headrest, the whiplash was so bad (my neck and shoulders were sore for two days)

I remember getting on this as a kid. Its too bad they shut it down

Knott's is a family oriented theme park. Six Flags is more geared towards adults.
