Montenegro: Durmitor National Park ❄️ Žabljak, Piva Lakes & Winter Wonderland [Montenegro Roadtrip]
📅 October 11th, 2021 ▶️ Coming back to Montenegro from the Peaks of the Balkans Trek, I made my way straight to the main mountain area of the country: The amazing Durmitor National Park! Renting out a cosy small cabin in Žabljak, I had the perfect base to explore the Durmitor Ring Road including a short detour to the Piva Lakes as well as the smaller lakes in the area. My time in Durmitor ended with the most amazing winter wonderland landscapes thanks to a lot of fresh snow! ❄

@@ChrisonTour I'm in the USA! I was there in October to explore Zabljak - it's where I want to live. I might come in January if I can get away. I need to visit in the winter before I commit to buying a house there.

@@ChrisonTour i don't know your plans for the winter but if you are going to be in Montenegro, check the Sinjavina marathon, a tour that can be crossed by snowshoes or skis, 40 km distance from practically Kolašin to Žabljak, it's an amazing landscape
