I remember temporarily becoming popular in middle school because I showed my friends a pic of me and my cousin who looks like Montel Jordan. I never corrected them 😅

In recent photos, he looks the same but his wife looks much older imo. He really took her through changes and it took a toll on her. Hope it was worth it for her but only she can decide.

From _This is How We Do It_ to _This is How We Blew It._ Interesting... Montell Jordan. I like Montell Jordan. I have a lot of warm and sunny memories attached to some of the song from his debut LP. That was a fun time because the LP released during the tail end of the 5th grade. I obviously love _This is How We Do It_ like the rest of the world, but my favorite ended up being _Somethin' 4 da Honeyz._ It feels like the Summer of '95. _Don't Keep Me Waiting_ is a good one as well. When I first heard Montell, I thought he was just another Aaron Hall knockoff. Good voice, but kinda been there done that. He can definitely sing though. And he's good live. Nah, his sophomore LP...no idea. 1998's _Let's Ride_ was my ish in the 8th grade. _Body Ah_ and _Irresistible_ ended up being my favorites. Lots of good memories behind that LP. _Get It On...Tonite,_ eh. All I know is that one song. After that LP, I don't know. I ain't even gon hold y'all. I simply don't know and I never bothered to follow up. LOL at Def Soul releasing his next effort overseas. Y'all know what that means. That means they were getting ready to phase him out of the mainstream music market. "Just relocate his efforts overseas and if they like it, great. If they don't, great." Shady ass music business. See, this is why artists quit because once you get older and phased out, yo' only option is the independent route and we all know how difficult and expensive that route is. Fans mysteriously forget about who you are and they simply move right on to the next one. It's interesting because Montell done been on record several times over the years expressing how evil the music industry is, but when's the last time Montell's ever sent them _This is How We Do It_ checks back to the company?
