The train of 'dots' is making it's way up the Pennine Way in another tough day for our ultra runners. In today's episode we hear about the overnight tension that saw the podium resolved in the Montane Summer Spine, as well as the news that Jenny Yeo after her incredible run, took first woman and 6th place overall.
The rest of the field are now back in the baking heat and coping again with the variety of the elements that the summer event throws at them. Today also concludes the Montane Summer Spine Challenger North - a new race to the series this year.

Number 105 here - Massive thanks to Stonehaugh Campsite who left the box of refreshments out as seen at 9:35 mins into the video! It's hard to believe how humble these people are and the depths of their reserves as human beings. I also think the "buddying-up" idea is brilliant,when you're feeling down or buddy is you'll defo chivvy each other along. Fantastic filming !
It's always good to hear the thoughts of the runners especially after covering some distance. Huge respect to all of them.
