While I am usually a harsh critic of these videos I was absolutely impressed with the photography of this one. Also love the narrator's voice. However it was slightly over dramatized.

Can we acknowledged his voice, its so deep that all insects and animals in the jungles of Costa Rica will disturb or agitated. a/w i love his narration.

Thanks for sharing these here for people without cable or streaming! I’ve been reading National Geographic magazine for most of my life. My Dad got them for me as a kid and I continue to get them. I have from the 80’s to today missing a few year or there through out the years.

Actually, while they sound the same, they are two different people. The narrator here is James R. Baylis. Venom is voiced by Tony Todd, also known as the Candyman actor and Death from the Final Destination franchise.

My picture was okay. You might want to check your settings. I did watch a video the other day that was so so very dark that I just turned it off. But that was the only video I had trouble with and it was from a site I had never heard from but looked ligit. Oh well. Just a thought to try & help you fix or to troubleshoot your problem. Shout out the one behind the voice

The photography is first rate, but the narrator is too over the top. He sounds like he is narrating a cheap Hammer horror movie from the early 1960s. A little more professional, please.

This footage is incredible. That being said, the music, sound effects, and narrators voice absolutely ruin it. I want to learn about wildlife. Why resort to framing it like an episode of tales from the crypt? Cheesy and tacky, especially considering how much was likely spent on filming this. 5 stars for the videography, 0 stars for post production.
