Hello, I am a dead bait fisher from the Netherlands and I always am looking forward to see your new videos popping up! I normally fish with three rods with three different baits, mostly roach, mackerel and herring. On one of your videos I saw you cut of the head of a mackerel and caught a nice fish with it. I tried the same and from the next six fish four were caught with beheaded mackerels, the biggest were 94 and 97 cm. After this I decided to even put on two rods beheaded mackerels and on the third one a roach. At that session I caught two nice pike, but both one the roaches and the mackerels were untouched... Conclusion: the fish are like women, mostly unpredictable...

Pike will eat any fish, if there hungry it doesn't matter what bait you use, you just need the fish to be there to catch them 👌

I've not fished the fen drains for about 7 years.. but I always found that when the drains were running off after a period of heavy rain was the most productive for pike and zander. Good video btw

Took up pike fishing 3 months ago and blanked every time since, why do u make it look so simple😢 😂 but once the season opens again I’ll be back on it. It will happen, I will catch a pike no matter how small. But cheers 4 all the good advice
