I really appreciate your videos mate, great angling (and music selection), a sponsor should take note. Haven't been out fishing in recent months as much as I would like for various reasons, now having serious car issues, drive belt snapped and engine overheated, not ideal to say the least but even if it's beyond repair I'll be able to walk or cycle to local river & canal venues. Caught a mid double last week on a mackerel tail and a bobber float, fished slightly overdepth with the bait resting on the edge of a canal shelf near reeds. I noticed a heron hanging around and fishing that same area which I always take as a good sign.

I'm 71 years old and caught my first pike last Wednesday. Wow what a rush!

Jesus mate that first pike crocodile, ive been pike fishing roughly 3yrs now I've got a sneaky lovely spot holds pike and perch ,I've had loads between 15-19lb mate just waiting for that big crocodile like that we'll done dude 👍

Cracking fish mate well in.... I'm new to pike fishing took my lad yesterday to try and have 1 but I'm struggling getting the sardine to stay on as there very soft... Any little tips would be greatly appreciated 😁

Cheers mate, I use a simple elastic band and double it over around the bait , otherwise they always come off lol

What braid do you use ? Struggling to find a decent one that doesn’t break the bank !

I use (dingbear) braid in 60lb of Amazon , it's the best braid I've ever used.

Hi top marks,some nice pike fish of a lifetime for me one day I hope.Your simple ledger rig ,what was the swivel two foot up the main line for you didn't say as I will be using this setup would be good to know ,many thanks and tight lines.Just subscribed😂

That was a peice of powergum not a swivel lol, it was from when I had a float on from a previous session 👍 thanks for watching
