I bought a raw 1837 Bust from J J Teaparty. They graded it AU53. PCGS & NGC graded in AU details cleaned. You have shown us some great coins today.

I like that proof set. I don’t have any in the small box, I have a 1955 but in the flat pack.

The boxes have a certain charm, but the flat packs are definitely better for protecting the coins

MS-64 and up and VG and below are easy resellers. Barber halves are quite desirable in any grade.

I’m certain all of the old-time deceased collectors are turning over in their graves watching this video as they ask themselves: “why would someone who has low-grade coins want them in a grading service slab - even the key-date ones ? 🤔 The 1964 Kennedy half-dollar in the PCGS Sample slab appears to be really nice, as does the Mint State-65 1943 Walking Liberty half in the MMNS slab. I’m a specialist in Reeded Edge Capped Bust halves, and I would say the 1837 should have properly been graded as mid-range Very Fine, even though it’s CAC-endorsed as an XF-45. Are you going to remove the low-ball 1893-CC Morgan Dollar from the damaged slab and carry it around with a pocket full of change for six months to a year in the hopes of it eventually getting the very coveted downgrade to a Po01, thereby enhancing its value ? 😲😳 😉 🤣😂🤣

Most people aren’t confident enough to authenticate coins of this nature, Would be nice if they could breathe some fresh air though.
