The back flip by Todd was by far the single most insane moment of the night & likely the year. It's in the running for one of the best moments ever, right there with Lee O'Donnel's front flip in Mad Scientist. But Ryan had the best overall run of the night & should have won freestyle. Out of our group who was there, we talked it out many times and settled on this order: 1. Ryan Anderson - Son of a Digger 2. Todd LeDuc - Megaladon 3. Colt Stephens - Thunderoarus 4. Camden Murphy - Bakugon Dragonoid 5. Cole Venard - Black Pearl 6. Weston Anderson - Gravedigger (orange) 7. Coty Saucier - Dragon 8. Cory Rummell - Megaladon 9. Chris Koehler - Monster Mutt 10. Adam Anderson - Gravedigger (original)/Tom Meents Max D The biggest debate we had was about Todd winning or not. While he had the best moment, most of the run leading up to that was a little lackluster. But freestyle is subjective, so we are happy to discuss or listen to other's opinions debating why different drivers/trucks would be in a different order. Look at that reaction by Tyler to Colt winning. He must really not like Ryan. Wow. While the Monster Jam officials made terrible decisions in regard to adjusting to (or lack there of) the weather, the final show was fantastic! Bummer there was no Max D 20th anniversary encore though. Long weekend that could have been better with a little communication from Monster Jam to the fans, but overall an experience to remember. Thank you for videoing it & sharing on here for us to re-live and remember.

I beg to differ. No destructive crashes except shaker, no super insane saves, no encore to follow it up. Only thing it had was air/momentum and a couple other highlights. If there are 24 trucks I want more than one freestyle to have good saves (Chris Koehler) and 3 memorable highlights

I think Todd should’ve won freestyle with that huge backflip and plus no max d 20th anniversary celebration encore I will rate 8/10

I honestly don’t understand why people think Ryan should have won. His run was good, but he didnt beat Colt in anything except maybe momentum (and even then, Ryan slowed down going over one of the Jammers, and had to stop and back up. Colt never did.) Colt hit everything on the track, had great momentum, big air all around and the overall biggest leap of the night, and a neat wow factor to top it all off. It was a deserved title. There were a few other runs, like Weston, Tyler, Tom and Adam, who were gunning for it hard but couldn’t last the whole time. Overall I greatly enjoyed this freestyle and we got a lot of cool moments and fantastic runs (Chris, Weston, Armando, just to name a few.) worst part of this WF was the rain delay (and even then, the weather was so much cooler after it past that I’d say it wasnt all bad), skills, and the fact that there was no max d encore. Overall it was a 7-8/10 for me and I’d go again.

The new nickname I quickly gave his flip was the Leduc Flip, I seriously don't know how he managed to land and continue. Leduc is just so good anyways but he needs to get off of Megalodon it just doesn't suit him.

I webt to that it was so fun and crazy the megolodon huge backflip was crazy

I am pretty sure from watching it be broadcast that when Jim Koehler ran he couldn't get it out of first gear/transmission problems.

I don't agree with Colt Winning at All. I liked Ryan Andersons Run the most then Todd In Megalodon, then Maybe Cole In Black Pearl. Very Shocked with this result. Makes me think of Linsey Read Winning which was not the right at all either.

Ryan’s run was mid. I’m sorry. Anyone who legitimately thinks he should have won is just biased towards him because if anyone else had put out the run he had nobody would even be talking about it. He did have great momentum and big air but Colt had great momentum too (and never had to back up, which ryan did.), way bigger air and he was the first to do the 2 backflip. Ryan had no wow factor in his run.

@@_cloud_34 Cole’s run was amazing, but Colt outdid him in the wow factor department. Had Cole fit some crazy move in his run like Todd’s huge backflip, he’d have taken it. Same goes for Todd himself, had he not played it so safe and had really burned it down the way cole, colt or even armando/weston did while also pulling off the massive flip, he’d have probably taken it.

Although i got to thinking that there was no max d encore because tom doesn't have enough drivers like dennis anymore , besides blake granger , his son colton was there for just this night for the stunt and Neil and chuck warner retired

I’ll be honest I really thought Teeny Anderson should of won but he didn’t fill the clock. I was shocked at RYAN’s low score. As for Krysten. It was a vintage old school grave digger freestyle run and best yet. She didn’t tore the body so that’s a winner for me. Watching Krysten progress is an incredible experience. And her throttle rhythm is amazing. She’ll be a world title soon she just needs to go bigger

Freestyle could have been better. Too bad it rained & was muddy, but it still was a good show. I think Ryan Anderson should be the winner, but i kind of agree with ThunderROARus winning. He had the biggest leap of the night, But Son Uva Digger always has better momentum & craziness. Both did 2 backflips & Ryan got a small moonwalk out of the one backflip. So for me, it's between those two. I'm glad Cory got a score this year, but unfortunately Bryce didn't. Finally, Earth Shaker had a good WF freestyle. The curse is over. This was also Brandon Vinson's best WF freestyle. Axe & Terminal Velocity should have been in the lineup & replaced with Scooby Doo & Grave Digger pink. They didn't deserve a spot. Sorry. Jamey Garner should have been in there also. I don't know why. He got more wins than last year. I wished Avenger went longer. It sucks he has suck bad luck at the WF. At least he didn't crash the body, so hopefully we'll see it again this year & maybe a few times for 1st quarter next year. Glad Jim brought back the water this year. I wonder why he didn't do it last year. Todd Leduc's backflip was insane. I can't believe the truck didn't break & he kept going. It's nice to finally see a new Great Clips skills challenge winner. Tom fell on his face. That never happens at all during the season, but at the WF, the luck wasn't on his side after dominating last year. At least Ryan is now tied with dad & is one away from tying with Adam. Ryan Anderson should have at least 2 more freestyle titles. He was so robbed in 2015 . I forget the other one. Did i miss something, or was Charlie Pauken supposed to drive Excaliber for TomFoolery? I'm glad his son is going to drive it. Does Charlie not want to leave FELD? I was so hoping Charlie would return to driving his original truck. He was one of the first trucks i saw back in 1997 at my first show in Dayton, Ohio. Hope Excaliber is back for good, since its been on & off with several teams over the years. Is Chuckie Pauken 18? Hopefully he gets a MJ tour next year. The new Jester & Bad Company are awesome. # 'Merica!

Since everything was on the same day, they didn't have time to change the track. It sucks. I think last year's freestyle track was better than this. I liked the triple though.
