Lupe is the best driver to pilot El Toro. Lupe pushed the envelope of what the truck could do. his signature corkscrews are to this day far more thrilling than boring boiler plate backflips

Disagree. Marc McDonald was one of the best racers Monster Jam has ever seen and evolved into a great freestyler in his own right. He was the best El Toro Loco driver.

I really enjoy the Evolution Of videos of various nostalgic trucks and drivers. I am really glad I stumbled upon this channel. I will always be a Digger fan. I remember watching the late 2000s and early 2010s events religiously on the SPEED channel. I need to catch up on the televised events somehow. Anyways keep up the great work on these videos!

I recomend seeing channels like AvengerRacing or MonsterJamReels since they record the show in a spectactor prespective

You forgot about Mark List competing in Cardiff 2019 and Armando Castro competing in London, Melbourne and Sydney Australia

Rob Knell was driving El Toro Loco when he had his infamous accident in Red Bluff California in 2004 when after his qualifying pass, the converter exploded and severed the fuel line causing the truck to be engulfed in flames. Causing 2nd degrees burns and broken elbow and fingers.

Brenden Rassel was one of the people who helped me apply to UNOH! I start my classes next year! Hopefully I’ll be a part of Monster Jam one day.

I think this is a good idea since An Escalade did (depending on how you view things) lead to the introduction of Mohawk Warrior even before Great Clips began sponsoring the truck. I would also like a similar part to when he was talking about Dustin Brown taking over Monster Mutt in his "Evolution of Monster Mutt" video. Here's what I'm thinking: "In 2016, George Balhan had retired, And as such, They needed a new Mohawk Warrior driver. And what better driver than up-and-comer Bryce Kenny to take over the duties of Mohawk Warrior."

I got to meet the amazing Kayla Blood and the incredible Mark List at the first ever Edmonton Alberta, monster jam event, and Kayla Blood won the overall competition🤘🏻😎

Hearing the music from Monster 4x4: MoM transported me straight back to being 8 years old playing gamecube.

I saw this truck during its debut year when I was younger. He wrecked early in his run and my dad said “El Toro Broke-O” 😂

Does anyone know why monster jam started phasing out the unique paint schemes for drivers in 2017? I always thought that the different scheme for each driver worked well for all the big hitters(Grave Digger, El Toro, Max D, etc)

Cost? I’m not sure about the variance, but I know El Diablo was retired due to money strain well not strain, but it was really costly unsure if that correlated with the paint schemes

Nathan I think now drives in the nascar pinty’s series up their in Canada or he was idk if he still is kinda wish he’d return to monster trucks. And they have another brother Kevin he quit the monster truck industry in late 2000 when his kid was born prematurely and wanted to focus on his young family honestly don’t know what Nathan & Kevin are up to these days, I have that feeling Lindsey will get back in the drivers seat maybe in spider man or iron man.

After he stopped driving monsters, he went back to what he was more known for, racing nascar in canada. He did that for about 5 years before retiring for the public spotlight.
