Dennis is truly the original ambassador for monster trucks. Always polite and kind to the kids and gave credit to the fans. He knew who paid his bills and he put on an amazing show every time. It's fun seeing old footage of the GD. Dennis was nutz!! He did some amazing stuff. I took my son to see hin in the mid 90's

Love watching these. Totally brings me back to my childhood. Gravedigger was always my favorite, he’s the king of freestyle and never going down without a fight 💪

Went to a monster jam event way back in like 2004 or 5 probably and saw grave digger for the first time. I was too young to understand what was going on but i loved the noise of the trucks flying around the stadium and just tearing the crap outta the ground. The only time i ever got to see monster trucks in person and i will never forget it❤

The best part about being a monster truck driver is that even when you fuck up it's still cool and the crowd goes ballistic!

Who remembers playing as grave digger on wiii

The first Freestyle I went to was in Arlington Texas in 2012 when Dennis went about a minute overtime just for the fans WITH 1 WHEEL driving his truck. The sound was just pure evil coming from that already crippled motor. Mad that Tom Meents took the win but still loved the show Dennis gave us 💥❤

I literally could watch an hour of this. Gravedigger is my favorite truck. Thanks for sharing this.

I remember the first time I went to a show. I was in like 1st or 2nd grade, and I was in complete shock of the awesomeness of Grave Digger. Even with earplugs, it was LOUD. That is a night I will never forget. (Grave digger won, BTW. That made it more special)

just went for my very first time last saturday at the broadmore world arena in colorado springs. Was an awesome experience and got to see his daughter krysten go all at it. Really fun time

Easily the greatest monster truck along with Denis Anderson being the greatest driver. I remember getting my picture taking of my sitting in gravediggers rim and another of Denis putting me on his shoulders for a picture in Wall stadium in jersey.

Gald I was young when monster truck where about racing instead of just destroying stuff. 90s was the best period in my opinion. Maybe I have my nostalgia glasses on who knows, but definetly feel they should go back into racing and make the courses more intersting.

I liked when they competed on cool tracks and could still take some risks by pumping the gas and fly over cars instead of crushing them.. but it was still very much competitive. Was this in the 90s they started doing this or was it later?

I can’t remember when it was. Only that it was most likely late 90s early 00’s when grave digger made a massive jump and clipped a tire on a stone wall and ripped it completely off

Mid 80s in my teens I remember going to our local arena for a monster truck event, I don't recall what they called it back then,but I believe they still had real metal bodies on them...big foot was the top dog at that time,but I do recall some of the others , like grave digger... Wish I had taken some pictures,but it wasn't like it is now adays everyone has a video device... I remember they smashed up old wrecked cars and motorhomes school buses ,but not so much their own rigs.🤪

I remember back in Monster truck infancy when they rolled over, they shut em down to save the motor. I guess today destruction of a $30,000 race engine along with a $50,000 dollar hand built truck just for cheers is what it takes to keep people off their phones in the stands.
