Nice shack I would love that extra 2 ft width. . I bought a 7x14 clam double hub when they first came out as I was instantly sold on the space. I ended up using either my one man clam flip or my 3 man flip for the sled to haul it out. So many advantages, easy scouting, flip top bathroom :), or just a place to stash gear you don't want in the hub.

You can get LED string lights that have a USB port on them and plug them directly into those battery boxes that are becoming popular. I've heard of guys taking them and putting the LED string into a peanut butter jar and hanging the jar via paracord quick and dirty for a light bulb type effect if you dont want to light the entire pop up.

Agree. The otter lights are nice but expensive. Make your own set of hanging lights. You can use either LED strips you can hang or the sled lights you put in your JM and gang them together. Just depends on how much wiring you want to do. Connectors are easy to put on the lights. Makes it easy to take down.

That thing is HUGE! For your sled I’ve seen people make a base out of pvc pipe to lift their hub or or auger out of the sled, so it rides above your other gear. Might be a good option knowing you’ll still have a propane tank, camera gear, and other things with you.

Lighting, a few cheap auto led light cubes already rated for 12v batteries. Even cheap ones can be water proof and bright enough for an ice tent. If you do it correctly, you can do quick connects and mounts (think UTV bar mounts), that way you use it to light up your tent and your sled as work lights while you set up. Also, bigger tent, more need for a more efficient heating source. On someone else's channel I saw them use a fireplace fan mounted on a Mr heater buddy unit. Fan means a distribution of heat and more efficient use of propne.
