Come on guys, its not THAT terrible. If Steve enjoyed the game and can earn some money, we should be happy for him. Especially because he apparently turned so many offers down and especially now, where the monetisation situation on youtube is terrible for many people. This money gives him the chance to continue doing high quality videos FOR US. Go do your thing, Steve. I am happy for you.

The biggest problem with sponsored content is that they dont mention anything negative about the game. Makes you feel there are no flaws at all, but then you play it and realize you have to wait for stamina or w/e to recharge to go on hunts.

Well, there's definitely things I don't like or that could be better, and I could have talk about all of those things but then the problem with that is that the video starts to become a review and that's a huge conflict of interest. This video is about 90% overview just stating facts about the game and only a small amount is subjective. Also there's nothing like what you're talking about... there is but it's not bad at all. You have to use tickets to go on hunts and tickets cap at 99, but I never had any trouble whatsoever going on hunts or farming monsters like a crazy person. I literally had ticket vouchers (a consumable item worth 10 or 20 tickets) amounting to hundreds of hunts sitting in my inventory which are given to you just for doing the story missions or logging in each day. Additionally, your soul does become corrupted from hunting (like I said in the video) and you must cleanse which costs a specific consumable, but you can craft that consumable at the alchemist with in-game items or buy 3 each day with silver, the game's currency that rewarded for doing hunts. In other words, by doing hunts you get the materials you'd need to do more hunts. There is no mechanism in this game stopping you from playing it if you enjoy it. The only systems I ran into that I disliked was backpack capacity and the friendship system. The friendship system is how you learn new skills for each weapon, it's designed to take a really long time to keep people logging on each day. You can only give 30 gifts in total each day and 10 gifts to a specific person to increase your relationship each day with that person... so it can take like a week to unlock a new weapon skill. Obviously better, rared end-games items would take less time but that means you've invested a lot of time into the game anyway. As for the backpack system, it is designed in a way that monster materials start to take up too much room and you'll need to expand. BUT, I didn't run into that problem until about 30+ hours with the game. I think that's plenty of time for a consumer to decide if they want to support this title and invest a little bit of money. Honestly, this is a very consumer-friendly game. I spent about $20 in my time with it but I felt it was well-deserved. The game has to make money somehow and I felt as though it wasn't doing any slimball moves to get a player to do so, which is exactly why I took this sponsorship when approached. I legitimately think this is a good game, I wouldn't spend thousands of hours of my life across making hundreds of videos to build a KZread channel only to lie to my audience and betray their trust. Again... it's a free game. There is absolutely no risk to you either way.

This has to be the most in-depth Rangers of Oblivion review I've seen. Goodjob on promoting the game, this is the way to go :) Too bad you don't do guides for it :( I recently started playing ROO and it really reminds me of MH and the days I spent playing it with my friends after school during secondary school. Good times :D

Freedom Wars was such a weird, fun game. I love the opening when they extend your sentence becasue you took " unnecessary steps exerting excess energy" while walking around your jail cell. I remember thinking... "wow, what a horrible place, I can't wait to see more."

I've always been called TerraMantis, but I used to have an additional named called ViiTCHA which stood for Visual Images In Tandem CHAnnel, but I dropped that a few years ago and just went solely with TerraMantis.

I' m regular player, actually lv 79 and is very addictive, the story is lame and regular, but fishing stuff, horse riding, explore and upgrade your weapons and skills break out the other mobile games like darkness rises, and etc, and it's not a full pay to win, the mechanics offer you several ways to farming resources to improve and have fun, speccial events like lost island lead you to find rare items like necklaces and rings.

I'm between this game and Era of Legends.

Some people have busy lives and only can play on their phones good thing they cost more than consoles right

I talk about Dragon's Dogma pretty often, mostly about how I want Capcom to start making Dragon's Dogma 2. Anyway, yeah, Dragon's Dogma is one of my favorite games ever. I think it was just short of being a masterpiece. Maybe I'll do something for it when it launches on Switch if things are slow at the time.

I'm sold.

I think it is and I hit about 35 hours into the game before I reached a point where I might need to spend some in-game currency. By that time I thought it was well-deserved. Regardless, 35 hours is more than enough time to see if like a game and want to support it or not.

Man I feel you.....but this game isn't working in some Nations.....I don't know about other country......but the update system doesn't work in India....... I started watching some videos of this game from other channels on KZread...... And when I searched for it at first I was able to download it.....but now my game need an update.....and now I can't download any update for it anymore......I just sent an email about it on the game website......man, I was so looking forward to playing this game more and more.....and now I can't even play it anymore......it sucks.....I was searching this type of game from 6 months.....and when I finally found one , now they say that I can't play it until I update it......Man😢😢....what should I do.....

The only I wished this game would work on is animations it's fine and all but it looks too much like these rpg you would see on mobile the characters not running on the floor there above it and animations just seem stiff and not smooth I would like it match those of monster hunter generations or even freedom unite or portable 3rd

This game is good ( fk negative cmt below) . The only thing downside of this game is the population . I' m at lv58 and i always need a team for chimera but the queue times takes so long, about 5- 10mins, you can solo but still too long ( 10-20 mins)

I know the game is good. That's why, even among all of the negativity, my conscience is clear. If people would actually give the game a try they'd see that instead of having automatic biases toward mobile games and sponsorships. Anyway, if you want to team up send me a friend request. I know what you're saying. But only a few years ago Free 2 Play was a dirty word in gaming too. Now some of my favorite games are F2P; Path of Exile, Warframe, Hearthstone, Dauntless, Paragon, etc. I feel like maybe mobile might be reaching that same turning point that F2P crossed about 3-4 years ago. Regardless of what you believe, everything in this video is 100% genuinely what I believe about Rangers, they didn't force me to say anything. For one I'd never take a sponsorship that did and second it's also against the law with FTC regulations to force anyone to say anything they don't believe is true. I genuinely really like this game, period. I played it for about 30+ hours before I finally (and willingly) spent $10 on it to expand my inventory which I really didn't need to do because I could have just deleted old armor but didn't want to get rid of it for potential video-making purposes so I bought some in-game currency. Point being, this is a fun game and it's consumer-friendly. There's more than enough time in 35 hours of gameplay to decide if you like a game and want to support it with a few bucks. Try it before you knock it.

The more I play this game, the more I wanna know why it's not on switch( I'd imagine copyright issues because it's way too much like mh? ). I can't play with the onscreen controls, and I don't own one of those Android controllers and I'm too lazy to set up my Xbox controller with my phone... I'mma just play mhgu on switch cuz palicos are adorable. Also, only 2 servers I get like 360+ ping for both of them so online will be hell if I can get past the tutorial. Maybe another time.png

This game is actually pretty good and the combat is solid. Story not that bad too although a little silly at times the conspiracy going on is pretty crazy, I made a video on this game and I would appreciate it if anyone could check it out and let me know what you think. I'm good. I was actually sick for two months, never been sick that long before. I got a TON of content on the way, this was a deadline thing and had to be first. Regardless... this game kicks ass and I don't care what anyone says, I like it a lot.

Imagine you're at work, a customer is an ass to you one day, or a colleague is being a jerk, or people are criticizing your work constantly and you're having a bad day. Now imagine that job is KZread and criticisms, assholery and people treating you like you're a lesser human is literally all day every day from THOUSANDS and thousands of people who never stop day, after day, after day, after day. That's what being a KZreadr is like... and that's why I have been taking such huge breaks -- to separate myself from the ugliness that can be the internet. So... yeah, when you criticized the way I made even a comment, it was like... give me a break.

So a couple things, this game is waaaay better than you think it will be. With that said though, it sure has a bunch of horrendous shit going on. Every thing is fucking monetized. That doesn’t mean you can’t play for *free, because you can, and it doesn’t really need that much grinding, you will most likely pay for more storage space with cash when you run out but need everything in your inventory still . The catch with this ad’s description is more all the shit in between hunts is so fucking tedious and boring it ruins the pacing completely. It doesn’t enhance it. At all. Fighting monsters is great, in fact only ire blood memory has tighter controls that I can think of in a cell phone game. So it doesn’t deserve the hate it’s getting for being a bad game combat wise, it’s the 20-150 dollars micro transactions, the little tricks like keeping necessary items for crafting and then selling you storage space when you run out and the wasting time outside of hunts that drag a really fun, good experience down to the level of most bullshit mmo cell phone games. I get they have to make money for a free game but the way they do it is very annoying.

Every video I've ever made has been read from a script. The only talking points I was required to hit in this video was 6 weapon-types, multi-player and single, kill monsters. That's it. Everything I said was genuine. I like this game, I'm still playing it.

Your voice is monotone, the pauses in between words make it sound like you've recited this dozens of times. Overall it's just boring and uninteresting. The game looks fun though, but honestly you didnt sell it for me. I'll probably never play it anyways since I'm not a fan of mobile games.

Go through the user reviews, one thing you'll see is that people talk about how consumer-friendly the game is. I personally put over 30 hours into the game before I finally (and happily) dropped $10 to expand my bag space. There was absolutely noting in that 30 hour timespan that stopped me from hunting or playing and enjoying the game in anyway. Like I said, it took about 30 hours of gameplay for me to reach the point where I had too many monster materials and needed to expand but I feel like that's MORE than enough time to decide if you enjoy the game and want to support it a bit. I think it's very very reasonable. One thing that is annoying... the material you need to evolve and level up your Gods (as far as I know) is only obtainable through the store. You can send your companions on scavenges and it does show the material is a possible outcome, but it must be nearly impossible because I've been sending them out multiple times a day for weeks and they've come back with squat.

If a sponsor sent me a script to read I would cancel the sponsorship. I turned down Raid Shadow Legends half a dozen times for over $13k because of that exact reason. I did the same thing for War Robots. I don't take a sponsor unless I have complete control. Not to mention it's against FTC law to lie in a video like this and, well, extremely unethical. Why would I lie or take on sponsors who want me to feed my audience bullshit when I've spent the past 5 years, thousands of hours of work and 150+ videos building that trust. I'm sorry that you have low expectations because of shitty KZreadrs with low moral standards. I'm not one of them. Plus, the game is free. If you download it and don't like it, I give zero fucks. No one loses anything.
