Dg you should start using atk drugs and seeds and stuff. They're easy to farm passively and give you a ton of dmg for a considerable amount of time. Demondrugs in particular are permanent till you die. It'd make for better showcases too I've hit 250+ with helm breaker on the dummy with drugs.

If you want to get 100% affinity go get the fighter Palico their Rousing roars gets you a 30% affinity use the pink thingy smoke in your action bar to get you a higher chance of them using it.

You're right about the power level its really not far from iceborne already in terms of the decorations, I hope they havent gone too crazy from the start and made everyone OP too quickly

u can use a barroth torso piece with quick sheath 3 talisman which can grant you an attack. However, Critbost lv 2 tho.

I dont have the exact same set, but I have a set that is similar that, in white sharpness, a crit hits for ~208 on MechaTetra's head.

I got a Quick Sheath lvl3 with speed sharpening lvl 2 and 3-1-0 slots. I guess I have to stick with that one now.

I HAD JUST PRE ORDER LAST MONTH ONLINE SCARLET NEXUS ON STEAM PC VERSION 2021

Hey DG since we have the same Talisman which is level 2 Sheath and Level 1 Dragon Attack with 2 level 2 deco slots. I suggest you swap out the arms for Barioth Vembraces S. His braces alone give 1 Quick Sheath, 1 Maximum Might, 1 Critical Eye and a LEVEL 2 DECO slot. And also change your legs for Kadachi Greaves S. it gives 2 Critical Eye and a Level 2 Deco slot. Sure you will lose some attack. But if you slotted in the right Decos you will be able to have 100% Affinity. The build will have these Skills: Crit Eye 7(40%affinity) Quick Sheath 3 WEX 3(50%affinity) Maximum Might 3(30%affinity) Speed Sharp 3 Free Meal 3 Attack Boost 2 Crit Boost 2 Constitution 1 This build gains 120% Affinity which negates the -20% affinity of the Tigrine LS. Sure you will lose a bit of damage but you will always crit which in my opinion is always alot better. PLEASE NOTICE THIS MESSAGE FOR THE SAKE OF LONGSWORD ART.

I would be over on quick sheath since my deco has two slots if I use both Barioth pieces

U use tigrex to but I use protectie Polish so I don’t drop down to blue 80% crit lvl 2 Mm lvl 2 crit boost lvl 3 wax lvl 4 attack lvl 3 quick It hits good and is complete

the main set has 434 effective raw of i can do math right, and the others had 426 efr. max attack, wex, and crit with nargas only reaches 375 for comparison

So how's my talisman? Its' got punishing draw 2 and quick sheath 1 with a level 3 slot and level 2 slot, so for now my talisman when I put my decorations on it I get quick sheath 3 and punishing draw 2.

I think at this point bringing in something like masters touch or razor sharp would be more valuable than being able to fit in more attack boost (if you have AB lvl 4 already). Longer in white means more juicy damage

That would be true if possible but there is so much limited slot space - The 4 levels of attack are only there because they come with the armor pieces and trying to slot in P-Polish is really hard without sacrificing Crit Damage/Quick Sheathe

Dam nice hell of a build, and btw I have the same QS3 charm lol. But if you want a small change on the build I use the QS3 and change the Barioth with the Barroth chest, give you a 2 slot and AB1, you will end up pretty much with the same build but yeah keep it up.

Idk why but with the helmbreaker in the training room with heads down I get 212 damage with 4 attack, and with 5 attack I get 215. Why this is happening? Have all the required skills you showed there as well as the slikbind boost

I have an attack Lv3 qs Lv2 talisman with 2 Lv 1 slots but I can't consistently get 80% crit without latent power 1 and maximum might 2 because of what armor we have right now. plus you have to go for attack 7 crit boost 2 to be able to keep damage more consistent. if someone has found a different way please let me know. am using Kaiser crown, Golden haori, Barioth vambraces S, Anjanath coil S, Hunter's greaves S, with said talisman. decos used are 3 weak, 1 CB, 3 grinder, and 3 anti-stun. total skills are Lv 7 attack, Lv 4 Crit eye, Lv 3 weak ex, Lv 3 Quick sheath, Lv 3 Stun re, Lv 3 Speed sharp, Lv 2 CB, Lv 2 Max Might, Lv 1 Latent power, with Lv 1 heroics left over. helm split does 222 per crit and 164 per no crit.

Dont sleep on protective polish

DG that set is Krispy so is that damage

You need to have a charge on your LS then press ZR the moment you fly, otherwise you'll only plunge and not Helmbreak

So I have the same exact build and tailsman and deco but I'm only hitting 168 or 165 in the training room even with skill bind boost on sword I'm playing rise on ps5 so ik things mightve changed since this video came out

Same. Im getting 166-172 dmg with a silkbind boost and same exact skills. Maybe its a ps5 thing or a patch on the base game.

@John Lee Ungriano didn't they like nelm breaker and something else in sunbreak or a patch in general that came out that's appanrlety already out for console where the damage for the move is nerfed i could be wrong though

You gotta fight apex rathalos in the rampage. You need the apex part of rathalos to unlock it

Fun fact: even if you lose the rampage against Apex Rathalos, it’s still possible to get 2 Alex flame sacs and sometimes lazurite jewels if you’re lucky. Happened to me my second run through.

When your Gauge has a colour press ZL + X then after you make contact with that move press ZR. Helmbreaker only works if you have at least 1 Wirebug

High Key having a tough time trying to survive without being one shot by the monsters lol..... where's the divine blessing though?

It's actually much more complicated than ZL+X then ZR. You need to have the spirit gauge at least to level one, this isn't just the white bar filled, it's when it has a glowing aura around the gauge. The way to get that aura is by performing a a full spirit combo (ZR-ZR-ZR-ZR) and the last strike needs to connect, you don't need to connect with every strike in the combo but that last hit is what levels up the gauge. So in effect to do a helm breaker you need to fill the spirit gauge all the way with white by doing strikes, then do the full spirit combo (be sure to connect with the last strike) and then with one wirebug charge you can do a ZL+X then ZR.

Is it me or is every weapon nerfed on the consoles..... the same exact build but can't do nearly as much damage and yes, I ate for the right buffs and took the correct buffs. I hear weapons did get nerfed since we started with the 3.0 update on consoles.

@@DearGamerTV Yep. I have the same build. I will keep this build in my arsenal though. It is still better than most other ones I have.

Why dont you try prioritizing level 3 Maximum might for 30% affinity rather than slotting in more for level 7 critical eye which only gives 40% affinity.

I guess it won't be as comfortable since there's a condition for it. The build I was able to make can get me Crit Eye 7 and Maximum Might 2 so 90% Affinity in total Edit: He only slotted in 1 level of Crit Eye which is worth 10% Affinity alone since the armor pieces naturally come with Crit Eye 6

@@mhk6943 that is true. But if he changed his Arms to the barioth which gives Quick Sheath, Maximum Might, Critical Eye and lastly a Level 2 decoration slot. This set would be alot more better.
