@@wigglerrave4020 4U was my third MH game, but good heavens is it still my favorite, even after Iceborne. Sure, Iceborne is more polished and modern, but something, everything about MH4U feels so right. It's difficult, fun, full of life, and that's not nostalgia speaking. Of course it had it's issues, but this game nonetheless blew my mind, saved me from troubling times, and to this day fills me with joyful bittersweet feelings.

Most mh games that I know of (besides games like tri obviously) actually still have a pretty active online player base. It’s one of the only series I know that doesn’t feel empty when you return to previous games.

This and MHWI are my two most played MH games. Though MH4U I’ve sunk easily 1800 hours into one save. It’s too good to put down!

This was the game that introduced me to the world of monster hunter. No regrets on loving the franchise so this is my theme

I just love the little "click click" of the gunner's bowgun being part of the song.

I'm playing this game on my 3ds in 2021. It's really good. This main theme is amazing and i love it.

This game simply will never be outclassed

This theme reminds me of a lot of precious moments on MH4U's online multiplayer, and each time i listen to it I'm about to weep.😪 I met someone there who helped me become the hunter i am today, even if it was only for a month...after that an infamous error code prevented me from connecting to other people online on a few games...mh4u included. So thanks to her i spent the best July so far, in 2017.😞 A friend i remember, who probably forgot about me.

First monster hunter and it prepared me to take on MHWorld, learned charge blade on 4 and mastered it on World, 4 really is the best monster hunter since it introduced the Charge Blade

I have so many fond memories of this game. This was the first time I could properly afford myself a game and I am glad it is this one. This game introduced me to this wonderful world and I loved every second of it

I didn't have the console at that time or the game. Monster Hunter is one of the franchises that will keep bringing me back to their games

Dude, I cry to this theme too.

Something about this theme brings a happy tear to my eye. Really encapsulates the spirit of an adventurous hunt.

Finally bought 4U about a month ago and I've been having a blast with it so far! Glad you vets could get a fiver like me to try the old games, it's no wonder you all love them so much

@@ninjafrog6966 it's actually setting off wind, it's a situation similar to world's where there are 2 main themes with minimal differences (i believe that it's because Japan and occident have the differences), there is 'Driven by the Stars' and then 'Stars at our Backs'.

No. 4U came out well before world. Some of world’s ost takes heavy inspiration from past monster hunter games

What the fuck happened there?

aah vanilla mh4 hated for a lot of ppl, but i loved it. got like 2000hrs and my save got corrupted when i attempted to try the game that i used in my jp 3ds on a hacked usa 3ds(i was in a bus trip of 2 days in my jp 3ds got drained so i tried that) and yes wanted to cut my f.balls right there.

The online for this amazing game has finally ended. Thank you Capcom for so many memories and making the game that truly made me learn what it means to be a hunter. 🫡😭
