Although a lot of the clothes aren't that high quality/ are screen printed, it's usually like that with Sports themed dolls, I hope we continue seeing the same outfit quality as their basic dolls for the rest of G3!

I agree with you, the lack of stands, cheap materials, polypropylene hair, its so disappointing. So cheaply made… for $125… they’re worth $90 max… all im gonna say is that if this was a rh pack some people would pick on EVERY SINGLE DETAIL… i really don’t know why for some people Mattel gets a pass for being underwhelming.

$85-$90 should have been the price, now if these actually do last a long time on walmarts website I do think they'll eventually go on sale and then clearance for much lower. Like I got the RH pack for about $54 one time when it went on a great sale. Another example is the Barbie Extra 5 pack which started off at around $100 and then on black Friday it went down to $60. Now like I said the only issue is that they have to stay around for several months and not be completely sold out and as we know MH is notorious for being heavily scalped.

MGA has had issue on how they pay their workers, but they are right, a lot of fans jump on MGA QC because of the smallest of things sometimes.

I’m literally here to collect all the Draculaura’s this new generation. Growing up I had a lot of these dolls and when I hit 12, my mom told me I was too old for toys and didn’t even ask me what I wanted to keep, and I was so sad. Literally collecting dolls now almost 10 years later to finally heal my inner child 🤣💕🧛‍♀️

Something very similar happened to me... (Trigger warning) When i was a kid i was SA'd for 2 years by a relative. When I turned 12, I left that place and they gave away ALL of my things. Including 30 something monster highs, the 4 original novi stars, the monster high school, and so much more. Im still broken heart over it. Im collecting them again now in hopes to heal that part of me

I think they look pretty good. I miss the outlandish shoe designs howver. It's odd that the hair fiber is the cheap polypropalene. It's famously unruly but very inexpensive. Times (prices for raw materials) have changed a lot since 2010 so I don't think we'll see that kind of quality for a long time. Also, the designers are not able to go to China to manage the production or negotiate the fabrics choices as much these days.

the gold line on cleo’s lip is a type of makeup worn in ancient egypt i believe. if im right about that then im excited to see them expand cleo’s makeup into actual Egyptians makeup (her eyes already are in most of her dolls but her lips aren’t) i love these dolls and think the new gen is super cute despite it not being the mh we grew up with. i think people should be more open minded with the new gen since it’s meant for a new generation of kids. but that’s just my opinion.

They look cute! And from what I heard Deuce's mask is to make up for his lack of glasses - hence the elastic and his ability to wear it - since those glasses are for Clawdeen

If this is what MH already offers us during the gen. 3 launch, than I am concerned. -- Where did the majority of those 125 dollars go to? I do not believe that any of these dolls cost ~20 dollars if they were sold individually. That is almost the same price of a single gen. 3 deluxe doll. -- What sort of value does Mattel see in this set, if sport-themed dolls do not sell that well? -- Why did they pick such awful colours for these outfits? -- Why are they not wearing uniformed-esk looks if they are from the same school (and likely rooting/playing for the same team)? -- Why does a sports-themed set only include 1 character (Clawdeen) who is an all-round active sports participant? Why everyone else is a part of a cheer squad? -- Why are there two types of cheerleaders: passive (Cleo, Deuce and Frankie) and active (Draculaura and Toralei)? Was one not enough? -- Could they really not afford to make real socks for everyone (same question for every pom-pon in this set)? -- Why was Frankie's shaved part not flocked? -- Why does Frankie wear jelly blobs on their feet? I do not understand. I am confusion. What is this?!?

@@WeatherInOrlando Not really as far as I know. Some say it is while others say it is not. It is only recently that cheerleading finally got accepted as part of the olympics. Also, there is a difference between competetive and regular cheerleading (the last one being more casual, which seems to be what this set goes for). Update^ I changed my original comment (and this one, too). I do think I have given cheerleading less credit than it deserves. I simply have a problem with the fact that the cheerleaders in this set seem to be posers. I do not feel like these characters are ready to show the sporty side of cheerleading (not to mention them just cheering on Clawdeen). Tell me if the change did any good.

Although i find some of your concerns to be subjective and a matter of taste, i do agree they are overprized. What i see is the same as for María García, the Día de muertos rainbow high doll that had less than last year's collector doll but is 50$ more expensive. I think this is caused by the actual inflation happening worldwide, BUT the problem is we dont know how much of the increased prices are justified by it, we just wont know how much they had to raise to pay bills and earn money from them, or if they increased it a bit more than they actually need. Whatever it is, I fear we are just starting, expensive dolls of any type are going to be happening more often and we are all going to be upset. In the worst case, whenever the economical situation gets better, they wont be lowering back the prices and will still try to greed. I do feel thats what will happen sadly

@@youtubewontletme Judging by the fact this set does not include any special character we have not see yet (e.g. Twyla), it seems the production for it started somewhere close to the one of core dolls. Moreover, Mattel is known for releasing cheap sets to bank on its consumer base (look at many of the MH sets which include 3+ dolls). Many either include dolls that could have been purchased seperately (Dance Class set) or they have been on the cheaper side of production (Werewolf Family set). Dolls (without the cothes and accessories) in this perticular pack are the same ones you can buy seperately (except for Frankie. So far no other doll of them features a shaved side). The only difference is these wear cheaper clothing and have much less accessories. Sure, certain investments into new molds and packaging have been made, but those are done with the intention of using new assets in the future. I am not going to talk about the clothing, because Mattel actively worked towards cheapening its production. In other words, I doubt Mattel did not intend to bank on this set. They are made with the idea of making as much profit as possibly (because parents can buy more dolls at once for their children and the price seems less intimidating). Also, this set is rpobabl tied to the animated series, its official release will be with all the other dolls in october, right before christmas and black friday. It is clear as day why the set for 124 dollars is the way it is.

I actually prefer the lack of flocking bc you can't really wash the hair if it's flocked. Plus it's not just smooth, there does seem to be texture.

Honestly they look good! I know they're not as good as gen 1 but in my opinion at least their not too cutesy like gen 2 was. It is sad the negativity is ruining them for the rest of us. Another thing is I appreciate doing proper molds for the shoes. Unless their legit heels we will get heel molds but they actually now have proper sneaker molds. Cheerleaders wear sneakers not cute heels. Heels are not dead in MH we just haven't seen doll outfits with them yet. Also i thought the gold line 0n her lips is actually a style of lipstick that was used in ancient Egypt which I thought was a cool detail because I can't imagine cleo with a lip ring but who knows.

Gen 2 wasn't that different, it still felt like mh, gen3 is a completely new brand and i don't like it.

I'm pretty disappointed overall with this particular set of dolls due to the cheap materials, everything being plain and flat, (clothes, shoes, accessories, even the dolls themselves), how the Torlei is an exact carbon copy from her original g3 doll, like they couldn't even change her makeup, and lastly the major overpricing of this set. Don't get me wrong, I like the designs, how the dolls are different shapes and sizes, etc. But they're made cheaply overall and not even close to being worth the price of this set. I'm really hoping going forward, they either lower the prices down to reflect the quality or improve the quality overall.

I don't think the dolls will be $124 when they come out officially. A LOT of these MH dolls leaking early are WAY pricier than they should be, like the Reel Drama dolls. When they come out, they're gonna be $24 each, but they're priced at $90 dollars on Walmart's website. Also, Reel Drama is supposed to be a Target exclusive, so how they ended up at Walmart's website is beyond me.

The reel drama dolls don't cost $90. I bought 2 dolls for $26.99 each. Why do people get so confused over this? ? When you go to a walmart listing just look and if it says "sold and shipped by walmart" the price is the actual retail price and anytime you see a crazy high price you'll see that it's a reseller or scalper. It's not that hard to understand does no one do online shopping? Even Amazon's exactly like this.

Tbf they did that in gen 1 too, like sig Ghoulia released 4 months after the core 5 and some Dawn of the Dance dolls released in between. It seems like Ghoulia might actually release with everyone else this time, since she's a retailer exclusive like Deuce and Toralei and they've both leaked pretty recently.

To be fair I don't think this set is supposed to be even be out yet, the listing doesn't even have a true description or stock pics. I'm pretty sure everything is set to drop together next month, this is just walmart being crazy again.

My main problem with clawdeen is how big her eyes are. They bulge out of her head and are actually a different design from the stock photos. The stock dolls use a thinner eye shape, but the production dolls use a much larger and rounded eye shape that makes her look more like a puppy than a fierce wolf.

I think that's my biggest gripe with clawdeen's dolls. like, if they just gave clawdeen slightly more sharp eyes I feel it'd give off more of that fierce wolf energy.

As a plus size girl myself, I love draculauras body type in gen 3. I hope they make more dolls like her. I also hope the included other hair types too.

I don't even want to imagine the price of this pack when it arrives in Brazil (it's definitely going to be over $200)

I think their basing Frankie and Clawdeens height difference from the show rather then movie, where Frankies the tallest of the three.

Although i find the pack to be expensive since the clothes dont look that high quality/detail and they dont come with stands, i have to say i really like them all, and find it fun to have a pack where each character plays a different role in a theme, and they all look pretty good overall, not dissapointed (except obviously by the price)

Wonder what Clawdeen would look like if you remove the nose paint, does she have a regular human nose under the paint?

The dolls are very cute but they definitely need a lot of tweaking which is kind of a bummer for the price you pay. At the same time though I am excited to yassify them. I’m definitely cutting Frankie’s hair to be even shorter like a Bob because it’ll be so cute! Clawdeens pupils bother me that they are slits so I will make them full circles, Cleo’s pupils also bother be as they make her eyes look very dull. Deuce is definitely getting different colored pants and classic red shades as I think there is just too much green. But other than that I’m still excited for what’s to come

Nonono that quality is simply unacceptable. Mattel is not being competitive , I'm sorry but MGA appreciates and respects adult collectors and Mattel is literally spitting in our faces. It's sad.

I love Draculaura new body more than the original. Same goes for the others too. It makes it easier for doll customizers to make characters from shows.

Frankie is still my favorite 💜 I want them but not the whole 6 pack... it would be neat to have both their dolls and the plush though.

I’m glad my daughter is excited for this 6 pack to arrive tomorrow this year we’re both definitely most excited that we get to collect MH dolls. She was only 3 in 2016 so we didn’t really collect dolls until Dec that year I remember we got really into Barbie fashionista dolls. Not crazy about plastic pom Poms 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ but we have plenty of RH cheer ones we could give her. I love that Drac is curvy cause I’m curvy and representation is very important so I love that Mattel gives us inclusivity I also love that Frankie’s pronouns are they/them 🖤🖤🖤 I’m glad the sweat head band is fabric 👍🎉 😂 Omg so funny if deuce wears the skull as a mask 😉🤗 I was bummed at this price point that we didn’t get their pets, more accessories and I would have preferred more exciting fashion but since I can’t find Toralei at Walmart and I’m impatient and just want to finally have some G3 dolls 😂👍

Definitely want these, but like with most dolls, gotta wait until they’re on sale.

They had human noses because they are a werecat (Toralei) amd werewolf (Clawdeen) and usually were-monsters are humans that turn into monster form hence the human noses.

honestly instead of making most of the ghouls just cheer on for (frankie?) deuce and cleo if i was mattel i would make deuce do casket-ball/soccer/football and replace cleo with lagoona and make her do one of those swim sports and frankie could be a fearleader

These are so pretty and I wouldn't see much problems with them... Were they priced in an honest way, this pack should be a cheap way to get tons of dolls, either that, or give them the quality of the single dolls but with less accessories

I'm praying Indonesia is still the land of cheap MH dolls like it was with G1 & G2, cause I'm liking quite a lot of G3 dolls.

Deuce has a stupidly cute face mold, but I agree the eyes should be a bit lower.
