I'd be careful about wishing the license away from Milestone. They were the first developer to bother picking it up since EA's two releases in 1999 & 2000, and people begged for an official videogame ever since. In the scheme of things, it's a niche market

@ianwashington7751 I can guarantee you they won't. If you look back to the time of the EA Sports supercross games, they were producing a number of unique titles very briefly. Even country specific sports, like AFL and V8 Supercars in Australia. It was unviable for them, so they killed that all off very quickly to streamline their investments into more universally marketable games which guarantee a return, like FIFA

Their games have been better then anything thq or rainbow studios have released in the past, yes even reflex minus scrub physics

In career mode your first race should be Loretta Lynn’s where teams are talking to you and after Loretta’s/Mini O’s you go to futures. Who care if it’s a supercross game, it would be sick to have that stepping stone to where you actually get a team or if you don’t do good have to make up for it at futures as a privateer

Motocross Chasing The Dream had that exact concept in mind to a T starting off in the 65cc class and finally moving up to the 450. Let’s see if LCQ studios actually follows through with the new Mad Skills Chasing The Dream

Things to fix: 1. More consequences for casing jumps! 2.Scrub/whip physics 3. Ruts more like the mxgp games 4. up to date rider teams and gear. Do updates if necessary! 5. The ability for a host to boot players who are blocking /cutting the track. 6. Make whoops harder. It should be If you don't get a good drive you come unstuck

What about a whole AMA SuperMotocross game? Like with the MX being part of it, with the series being run that way now, perhaps we see that in the game? We’ve heard rumors (more like hoped for) an AMA motocross game for years, now with lack of MXGP in their arsenal, maybe they have plans to cover the whole new SuperMotocross series. 🤞🤞🤞

@sdharlow595 When you say "Full SMX", do you mean the current SX season; plus, the previous SX season Milestone missed? Because, that would be more realistic. Adding the full SuperMotocross season would currently be a licensing nightmare; since, Rainbow Studios (like them or not) still owns the licensing and sponsorship rights for the Lucas Oil Nationals. Unless, THQ Nordic and Rainbow are willing to relinquish the track rights for said championship and find another MX-adjacent championship to license for MX vs. ATV (like, an officially-sanctioned FMX contest, since that’s the only niche the series still has), an officially-licensed SuperMotocross game would be impossible for the time being.

What would be cool is if they take a year off and put 2 seasons in one game so that it feels more progressive in the career mode, and the riders that change teams or move up can have 2 versions. From one season to the next.

That wil be nice the turning is super slow for the player but the AI rockets around the turns

My one issue with the supercross games is how the AI literally stay in a single line the whole race.

Here me out - this could still come out in 2024. They did something similar with MXGP series before exiting. If they are taking it out until 2025 - then it NEEDS to be the full SMX series. Personally I'd be okay with them releasing July/August 2024 & having the current season (2024) played out. then a patch/update that brings in the SMX playoff rounds.

They better have both supercross and motocross in one game. That would be the ultimate game having our national tracks for 2024 and supercross tracks for 2024 that would be the best game

Can't say im hyped but Im still glad they are making another one. I always wait a year so the new Supercross or MXGP comes out so I can pick up the last game for 10€ in a sale. Did it with every Milestone game and I played almost every one

I'd love for the track editor to be what it was in the first game I've made some of the absolute best custom tracks in Supercross 1 and 2 I went back to them a few months ago and I was rippin' around em' then I went back to some of the custom tracks on Supercross 6 and it just felt boring. I'll admit I tend to make the same types of tracks that are simple with a realistic feel but after a while it feels like the same old same old and I really want more! We all want to let our creativity flow and shine like we did in the first and second game. I'd also like the psychics to be improved upon and not feel like you're sliding into or out of corners when you're just trying to make the corner itself.

Supercross 3 in my opinion was the best the physics ever were. What they need to do is start there and make very SUBTLE upgrades. They need to start there and massively improve the free whip physics, especially since they don't even have tricks in the game, and make it to where you whip with both sticks going in one direction. No one has ever liked the cross sticks scrub. HOWEVER, I really like the way it is in legends right now. You get massive whips and scrubs when leaning both sticks one way and an actual useful quick scrub variation when pushing or pulling them apart. THAT I would be totally ok with. Then I think they should definitely implement terrain deformation with the time they have. And lastly, they need to have WAY better freeride areas and have peakier jumps every where.

They have potential to make a decent game. My say in it is that the body is too stiff so it’s just as if you’re controlling the bike, the bike seems to feel like it floats. They did a better job on the physics aspect in The Crew when riding bikes. I’d like it to grip more. If it means them having to release it at a later date then do that.

They dident do a bad job with SX6 i literally just bought the game yesterday and there still thing i wish they would do, but after 4&5 SX6 is sitting right under SX3 for one on my favorites so far.

One Thing. REFLEX Physics. Mind Blown...

Make one game.... heavily beta test the physics with the community and release it.... and sell DLC yearly for the ONE GAME. DLC with a one time payment adding new tracks and rider data for team changes ect..... for that current year. Yes the tracks will be a bit off in some situations.

The problem is with monster energy Supercross games is they’re always a full year behind on the teams. It’s so stupid they can’t have the updated riders on their current teams. So part 7 will have Jett on a 250

All I'm ever looking for. #1 good bike feel / looks realistic while riding #2 good multi-player #3 good track editor Give me those and I'm happy. It's all about the flow.

Super motorcross, so best of both worlds.

We all know why, Legends took over and became a MUCH better dirtbike game that not only gives us SX but also MX as well. Not only that, they continuously listen to the player community and work week in week out even till this day, impvroving the game per community feedback all the while constantly giving us new DLC's and content. Legend's with the 1st round KO. MESX seemed recycled every year, with very little real beneficial changes besides the graphics very very slightly with each version. I understand they were under contract to release a new MESX every year, that relates to the season that just ended. Which has to be stressful and limiting to how much focus you can put on certain problems or new content. It was just a task with too high of demand and not enough time. I get it. I am SO grateful Legends came out and stepped up to the plate to give the community the dirtbike game we deserve and who better, than MX vs ATV. This goes sooooo far back to the original ATV Off Road Fury! Rainbow studios has THE most experience in Dirtbike game's. my .02 🙏🏽

Cant be far off 2 years since it came out and for me the physics are still crap and the engine sounds they might as well not bothered doing any!

If there is one developer that I feel could deliver an amazing dirtbike experience it would be Codemasters…yes they are owned by EA which could definitely be a problem but Codemasters always put at least 110% into the core gameplay which I think is the most important part of these games. When it comes to Milestone, in the end honestly they have made good dirtbike games whether they had minimal changes to them or not, we are lucky they weren’t micro-transaction filled games or games where we had to purchase real world bikes like Mx vs ATV does. I’ve had my ups and downs with milestone but honestly they did good. Thanks milestone!

I hope they have more official helmets like they did with the Coach Helmet. Would love a RB Bell/Fox and Monster Bell/Fox

This is what I would want for the new game is official helmets like monster, redbull, and rockstar. If I was making it, I would make a section for every helmet model that would say something like sponsored decals or something like that, and it would have the monster, redbull, and rockstar decals, but you would be able to customize the helmet color, the design, and then have the sponsor of your choice on the helmet, and it could also be limited to which factory teams you have unlocked. If you have the monster energy star yamaha team unlocked, you would have that helmet sponsor unlocked as well.

@windham151 great content as always! On SX6 Is there anyway to cross play (play together with PS5 and Xbox players ) with friends in private lobbies on this game. I know it's possible to play together in public lobbies.

I hope they got back to 1,2 and 3 and see how good they are. Just copy the physics and update it and that’s it!!!! Banger. I still play 1,2 and 3 all the time.

I hope that taking all the extra time they are taking actually produces a good game but with milestone I just don’t have faith anymore, I really don’t know if I’ll care enough to buy this game as I’m a big fan of Mx vs atv legends and would probably rather play that anyway

Personally loved 1, hated 2, (loved 3, but sadly so did everyone else because of all the exploits), LOVED 4 because it felt different on each platform, Hated 5, thought 6 was a big improvement from 5. I feel like 5 and 6 suffered a bit with cross play. I feel like they designed it to not give any console a physic advantage and it felt more like riding inside a box… just my thoughts.

All I hope is that if they do release a new Supercross game that they give the official team contracts more customizations. Like for example the option to change your gear to Fox or Alpinestar or whatever. It would also be nice if we could get helmets such as Red bull, Rockstar energy or Monster energy as bonus sponsors if the player progresses very well in the game.

The bike whips and cribs need to be unlocked.. and give us our tricks back.

I think Milestone, should go back to the Supercross 1 style. That was just so much fun!

I think people need to appreciate the games more, i get worried they will change in a bad way, to me the new game is for the new tracks, they could use the same game and do DLC for next seasons tracks for all i care , sx3 was great better graphics is nice too. I dont wanna re learn new mechanics/steering etc every game .i dont think any of them were bad games I dont like how the turning is on 6, its harder and if i play the other sx games it easier to turn but messes with me when i come back to 6. Good videos, keep doing it, i usually watch urs for mx games.

You forgot to mention a speedway map in the track editor.

What I’m hoping this means is that they DID see the backlash from 6, and decided well, let’s take a break, skip a season, and really work on making big changes and improvements to the game graphically and physics wise so we get a fresh start. I’ve always enjoyed their supercross games until it became just sort of copy paste. Hopefully they really show us some cool stuff in 7. I personally would love to see a custom graphics editor, one that’s easy to use. And one that allows people to share designs like the helmet editor, I’d like to see the helmet editor become a bit more user friendly. I want to see a bit more detail in the career like their moto gp games. Or a story of some sort. And I’d love better customization and parts for the older 2 strokes in the game. And the addition of the old kx two strokes and the GasGas two strokes

Milestone should come out with a dlc for the 2023 season in Supercross 6.

Supercross 1 was great and fine most notably the control and physics. All they have to do was just maintain the gameplay but make the game replay stable. Please Milestone bring back the Supercross 1 physics but make the rider skinny.

I tapped out after mesx4. Really enjoyed 3 and 4 but lack of updates was getting lame.

They should have the downloadable riders. Like the ex pros on the early 00s/90s/80 bikes, thats one of the reasons i still have sx5 because sometimes i feel like ripping a 1985 cr250

Imo, we can't focus on customization when there is much more core problems in the game! Fix physics! Fix stiffness! Fix floatyness! Speed up the game a little, it's too slow! Then Milestone can start thinking about customization and dlcs and more secondary stuff like that.

I’m good on arcade dirt bike games. Haven’t touched them since I started playing mx bikes. About the only game I play outside of a sim is reflex.

I released a video on my channel four months ago about how Milestone would be releasing a Supermotocross game in Spring of 2025.

Hopping we see something new finally. Mostly i care about the actual gameplay which is plenty bland imo. Comparing to how much content Rainbow Studio is pushing with Legends.

If they could make the AI not try to take you out every turn thatd be great. especially during qualifying, having 20+ bikes on a 50 sec track while everyones making contact every turn isnt fun, and neither is starting all the way to the outside. make the tough blocks able to be ridden over.

but, are the new developers of mxgp games good or not? I don't know them. Anyway, I hope that supercross 7 will come out in the next few years!!💪🏼💪🏼
