Ryan Smith Reflex removed a lot of content from untamed, such as free ride. Yes they did have free ride but only three maps which didn’t have much to do in. Removed enduro cross, which was one of my favorite aspects of untamed. Removed monster trucks, mini Moto, sand rails. The 360s in reflex always looked a little weird. Alive.... oh ho go hooooo alive... this is where it started going down... no freestyle, only bikes and atvs.. goddamn dlc, super boring free ride tracks and the ones that I had a code for constantly disappeared for who knows why, the only TWO SUPERCROSS TRACKS ARE DLC, Nationals are pretty bad... listen I love reflex... and I uhhh *_despise alive_* ... but anyways my two favorite games are definitely... untamed which had endless content content. And Mx unleashed...

Reflex is overrated to me. I put many days of gameplay into it, it's really not that good compared to recent titles. I reviewed it thoroughly on Amazon, but yeah.

IMO: this is the best of the 3. I love the physics, turning is reminiscent of sx1 (which I loved), preload is much more challenging and useful, removing the in-air steering is a major improvement. AI is tougher too, which is great. One negative is its too forgiving as far as casing without a crash.

How do you turn without laying it down, and turn in general, i just got the game and cant turn at all

12:01 finally someone pointed that out. Its the same thing but on the MX compound track (the big long track) in some weathers. Its very dark and I couldn't even see at all. Super annoying and needs to be fixed. Great video, hope everyone has a great day.

Robloxian Bo what an incredibly dumb mistake from Milestone

You nailed it right on the head Windham! Although I actually preferred the cornering in 2 since you had to have more control over that sliding motion, they made that a lot easier in 3. But the free movement in the air is a lot better, nice upside down and turn down whips actually look good, and scrubbing of jumps is quite good. I give it an 8 out of 10. Very refreshing after MXGP2019 because it was a complete waste of money...

I don't understand. We should be happy even if something is not that good just because we get it every year? Dafuq? Games cost 60/70€ when they come out, if it is trash people have all the rights to say it. And also yes, everyone who spends his money on something has the right to comment, otherwise it would be a bunch of people giving blowjobs to each other. Critics can be taken also to improve your work, and Milestone is not listening neither the critic and the players who love their stuff.

IMO definitely the best of the 3 games. The ground and air physics improvements i am loving. I really like the handlebar push and pull they added. Like you said engine sounds could be way better. Overall i think its a huge step in the right direction. Nice video btw

I really like the game. I said the must have corrections from SX2 was: fix the constant crashing, allow you to save your bike settings and fixing the spine so you weren't being reset while actually on the track. They fixed those and the game feels good. It is a little harder in some ways and is easier in some ways too.

They need to put in a number editor and helmet editor like in motogp 19. Its awesome in that game and it's been out a year so they could have.

I think this one "3" is definitely worth the purchase especially if your a supercross fan. I think most people complaing about the gameplay/game in general. Haven't taking the time to actually put some hours in and craft their skills. I struggle the first day (2 hours) continued to play and say I am in love with the game. Makes a great experience for the gamer. Definitely rewarding when your riding smooth and hitting your marks👌🙌

Loving this game, initially I was hooked on the Mxgp series but after investing ALOT of hours into Supercross 3, I’ve got to say I was impressed, Graphically seemed better than the MXGP series to a extent, and the physics impressed me, for a older game in comparison to Mxgp2020, which I like the new adjustments on, Can’t wait for the new release in a few weeks, Great Vid 👍 We’ve got some “Cinematic” footage on the Compound of this game, take a look if you like 👌🔥🔥🔥

I just bought monster energy 1 a week ago and couldn’t stop playing it! I just bought monster energy 3 bc I listened to so many reviews and just took a chance. Monster energy 1 gameplay is miles ahead of 3 and so much smoother. The cornering is so much easier in 1 and just feels more aggressive. I just hate 3 and hope anyone thinking of buying it don’t make the mistake I made and just buy 1

Yes SX, MX, straight rhythm, and free style the only game I’ve played that had most of that is MX ATV all out its amazing in my opinion

When I want to play career, I don't want to waste my time doing a race worth or "training" just to get to race weekend. To be fair, I don't have hours a day to put into the game. I also didn't like the stat part of the training. Just let me race, not grind stats.

Fair enough. It just feels like we have 2 championship modes in the game now. I mean for the faster experience Id say championship is the way to go. I guess I just want the option of having a fun deep career with other experiences on the side.

I can see that point. If I could have my custom rider, but run default championship with full stats, I would definitely do that. I'd rather have my custom rider, than a pro rider. It's 2 sides of the coin. For the guys that want the stats/grind I think it should be there too.

I enjoy the Super cross 2 career and agree with windham that I wish they would have built more on to it. I do see your point Ryan and for that I would like to see them add a season mode where you can use your own rider and just race. Just like it other sport games, there is the deep dive into running a team or just casual seasons.

It'd be cool if your team mgr or trainer recommended specific training & used to test new equipment/settings.

I think this is the best one so far, I love the game play, I do wish you could make your name and number bigger. And it wasn’t such a hassle to change the color of them, Also I like the old starts more than the new ones.

Is the customization better in supercross 4?

I wish first you could choose the year to compete in & race tracks/riders from that year. I'd like to see outdoors MX. I'd like to see tournaments online.

Im new to the series, im just wondering on career mode is there an advance or disadvantage to doing the challenges or not, i saw on a youtube video for supercross 2 that once you had completed all of the training you would see a huge improvement in your rider i'm wondering if this is the case in supercross 3 ?

and also you drama queen the bikes sound FINE.

I just started playing Supercross 1 a few days ago and put many hours into it. I gotta say it's miles better than MX vs ATV All Out. The rhythm is smooth, the graphics are really amazing and I love the physics. This one looks good too, so does the second ME Supercross. The problem I have is whipping doesn't have free control, I'm missing that a lot.

Just getting into bike racers on xbox atm I got ride 2. Isle of Man TT. Mxgp2 and thinking about one of 5he monster games

The 3rd game is awesome. It looks great on switch too and it’s just amazing. Sometimes when I whip it does this weird backwards whip. If your thinking about buying it you definitely should.

Will online tracks be available to race on soon on multiplayer online races?

The games pretty good. If they move the tuff blocks to the edge of the track instead of on it, it will open it up more creating more flow. And the other down point is when your on rails through a rhythm section it slows you down even tho you get everything perfect sometimes, I’m not sure if this is just bike set up on the game or what I have only played it for a day but so far it’s actually alright. Nothing will ever beat reflex but they are finally making improvements. Hopefully after a update or so they can fix a lot of there issues. Have you done a video on your bike set up mate ? Be interested to see.

Still waiting for a motocross game that has old tracks and retro bikes and riders. Couldn’t care less about new bikes and riders. Give me Rick Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, Chad Reed, Jeff Emig and Mike LaRacco. I’ll probably never see it but the Rick Johnson DLC gives me hope!

Love the new cornering. Go wide and rail the berm or hit the back brake and do a quick turn. 10X better than MESX2 cornering. The online is the best ever. Dedicated servers. Full lobbies non stop. Good job Milestone!

You're preference, I really love and enjoy MXGP 2019 and you should definitely get it and try it, I haven't played any Supercross games, but I am looking and hopefully getting the 2nd of 3rd one

How is the credit/ currency rate ? 1 had a very fast rate and 2 had a very low rate that it seemed it took ages to afford anything

The game is great and I like the online, but there is a glitch with hrc Honda 2 gear, and I wonder what it looks like because you can’t see it at all

Should I get Supercross 1 or 2? Cause both seem good but Idk and i focus more on the Career mode and the official teams

At first, Supercross 1 was still my favorite. I think I even said that at the end of this review. After playing for a couple months, this one has turned into my favorite out of the 3 games we have in the series. Probably the hardest one to pick up. Awesome game.

How are the load screens this time? Seemed almost constant in the last one and really killed the pick up and play feel for me.

I've tried so many bike set up combinations for cornering in SX2 and still blow out corners. Glad to hear SX3 has addressed that issue!

Something I would actually like is something like commentary over the race similar to madden or nba 2k.

How do I unlock the 2 stroke bikes in MXgp Pro....Please Realistic simulation physics is everything to me. That is what everyone should want as you get older.

In my opinion if this game had the first game’s physics then I would definitely get it, this game has everything the first game should have had in the start

Anyone else have an issue with some laps not being counted? I’ll be running in 1st then all of the sudden when I cross the line I’m in 20th. It’s not all of the time but I’d say it happens 2-3 times a day and forces me to restart the race or accept defeat

Damn windham. I been watching you for years man. YEARS. I've always agreed with you on these games but this year I gotta be honest. This is in my opinion of course is better than it's been in years but I've also come to learn Milestone always gives us what we want then takes some away. They never add good without bad. But I guess that's life. As far as celebrations I wish they would kinda do a little better and put a tad bit more time in it because finish line celebrations have been a thing for a long time especially for most of us who grew up with the McGrath, Carmichael, Pastrana, and Bubba Whips and Nac Nacs over the finish. But hey just my opinion. I feel the physics are gonna keep this game alive. I feel updates can save this game though if they do it right. But these games are another madden an 2k. As far as the training goes I'm glad they didnt put it in career cause I dont want to level up my rider every single year with the same tedious challenges the same way people grind out a 99 ovrll player on 2k every single year idk how theydo it. Just my opinions though man, I feel this game has potential, but always a good video. Always support you man keep making vids and keep riding 🤙

Huge thanks man. Awesome youve been with the community here for that long! I always like reading these comments, ones that have a lot to say about a particular game or update. You are not alone in not wanting the training in the career, Ive seen several other people say the same thing. I just really want a career that feels like its worth it, not just a credit grind. I think I might have worded my celebrations part a bit weird. Having the celebrations is cool, throwing something for winning definitely makes sense. I just dont like how many credits they cost for casual players that dont want to or cant grind out the game and how odd some of them are like the dab lol. @@windham151 I couldn't agree more man! I agree though paying for celebrations is ridiculous especially when they're 20 to 60k a pop. They should be a given, already an option or something different. The career though I feel ya man, I've been hoping for even a corny story or something where you really start from the bottom and race even some arenacross which I know isn't monster energy, but something to that nature some depth I guess. It's the 3rd game and the physics is the biggest step in my opinion this year but the whips (although I'm so happy with the freedom they finally gave) but canned whips, game modes, and career mode depth with a few compound upgrades cause it feels kind of generic and I feel that the supercross tracks are the best thing about the compound. But yeah man always appreciated your feedback and acceptance of your subscribers corrective criticism the ones that are mature and not wasting people's time of course, so I always respect your opinions on the game and will in the future appreciate you taking the time to respond man!

Mx vs Atv Alive was incredible. How is this in comparison?

My top 3 complaints are jumping, if your not right in line with the face of the jump or turning on the face it feels like the bike just floats sideways, I play on Xbox and seldom you’ll jump and the bike will freak out and do a crazy whip and you cannot correct it to bring it back cuz the controls get all wonky, and 3 sometimes when you get to high on a berm and knock tough blocks away your bike will like go horizontal and spin on top of the berm before it wrecks you and wastes like 2-3 seconds

Wasn't this game supposed to have some "team manager mode" too? Could be wrong, but I remember that being something mentioned early on

Last night I ran 50 laps at Glendale I know all the fast lines and made top 10 on PS4.....However it’s so inconsistent I could not do back to back burners like one outta every five laps is a burner lol....... I love that about ‘this game makes online anybody’s race I’ve had slowest lap time and won overall CONSISTENCY is key!!!! Oh I wish they showed overall time too

Yeah. Tough to run those super fast laps over and over and over again. I mess up the tough rhythms all the time.

I hope they make a break and release a complete new version on ps5 next year that will be great

I much prefer this game over mxgp 2019. Pretty much everything about it is more fun in my opinion. The way the game plays is so different and harder to master I think.

2019 is just fucked up in the basic handling and air physics.

my main gripe with this game is customisation, Milestone did an amazing job with giving us so much more freedom to customise things in MotoGP 19 and I was really hoping they'd carry that over to Supercross and MXGP but it looks like they haven't (yet) which is kinda disappointing.

Honestly this is a fun game

Mostly supercross, but there is a compound outside you can free ride with friends or solo. There is also 8 supercross tracks and one motocross track there.

Hey windham idk if this is a glitch or bug but in order to use the #1 it says you have to win any season in career mode and I won the 250 west championship and it gave me the #1 at first and then I changed it back to my normal number and now it says that the #1 is locked and is saying I still have to win any season to unlock it. If anyone knows how to fix it could you please let me know. Thanks

@@windham151 hey windham so I have been trying to find out how to fix this bug and I just cant find anyway how to and I just won the 250 west championship again and it still didn't give me the #1. Guess I'll just have to wait until the first patch update.

I like the game.

Track editor has a super annoying bug where it skips over 2 pieces at a time. Also, why no "are you sure?" prompt before validating cause it is SO easy to hit the wrong button and that mistake is sooo painful. Lastly, i use straights to make the track layout and the fill in sections later. Well now you have to start at the last piece you put down and have to go all the way back (doesnt loop) and that resets EVERYTIME you change between whoops/jumps/special etc.

The only moto game I’ve ever genuinely disliked is MUD, that was bad. This, however might be my favourite milestone game. Getting a solid lap, timing all the rhythms correctly and getting on top of the whoops is legitimately rewarding. There are some annoying glitches here and there, but I’ve been really enjoying it so far. Would absolutely recommend

windham151, can you please explain more why this game is a must buy and that "it is very different from 1 and 2"? I summarized your main points and it seems like overall this game is either the same or took a big step backward with some improvements in handling and multiplayer. So why is this a must buy? Besides from the handling, it seems to be the exact same or worse than pro 2 in your review but your final verdict is "must buy", with the caveat that there needs to be big changes and improvements". Physics- Still not perfect, but better. Cornering- Better than 2nd, "pretty ok with it" Rhythm sections- Improved, Physics Overall- Freer than previous games, more difficult, punishing mistakes, Improving in right direction Customization- Gear Sets- Old Gear, some new stuff but seems lacking, too much filler, Bike Customization- More pre-sets, reused customization Rider- Re-used, who cares because you never see it, customization of name and jersey is basically same, maybe slightly improved Track Editor- Didn't get worse (maybe a little), but didn't get better. Validation is a better. More sand options Can't flip a lot of stuff, too dark. Took stuff away and didn't add enough to make it better. Career- Kind of a disappointment. Took a bit step backwards. Not a lot of enjoyment playing career. Separated career and challenges which makes career less fun and meaningful Bike sounds- dont sound good. AI- Same, more inconsistent (some maps 1-2 AI riders are really good but most are not), not worse but eh. Needs way more improvement. Custom maps AI are horrible, worse than this year. Multiplayer- HUGE improvement, dedicated servers. Overall- Must Buy!

Thanks for the comment man, really detailed. I feel like the overall core gameplay is so much different, so much more difficult, and so much more improved over the past 2 titles that it makes the game more fun to play. A lot stayed the same, or went forwards or backwards slightly which was a bummer. But the core gameplay is just to fun to not try out.

I’ve owned every one of these games since MXGP 2. This isn’t better than MXGP 2019 but it’s better than a lot of the games I see people mentioning up here too. This is a dope game if you don’t ride in real life I can imagine but this is coming from someone who doesn’t ride in real life or know anything about bikes in real life so this game works for me

This was just the standard game. There's the Monster Cup and 1986 Anaheim with Rick Johnson on his CR250. I think there might have been a couple more, but these were the only ones that were worth it.

can you not do a online championship anymore? Its only single events? If they got rid of that feature that seems very very strange and a waste of a great fun online feature.

To me Reflex and MXGP 2 are the best titles I have played in this genre

bought game, also enjoying it. However i feel completely the same. I feel shorted, i feel like there could just be like triple the content, little more attention to detail when it comes to AI and what not. Glad i bought it, just feel like things are missing.
