I find that everyone does literally better than Mark. Better and more unique rail section with 1620 ande 1800. Mark did the same run 3 years ago and you just can't tell difference, because nothing has happened. We have seen all of his tricks so many times. And then you see riders like Tiarn Collins who get 84 from better run (with cab 1800). My conclusion is that judging sucks hard or is corrupted. There's just no other explanation. Maybe they get money by doing this. Or maybe they just don't understand the tricks.

Yeah. Idk seems weird to me. 95???!! Um ok... then after 3rd run you can see him hand gesture, that the judges better give it to Red. Do the brothers have an in with the judges. Wouldn't surprise me after all these years. Hmm? Conspiracy shredding. Hah🤫 Don't get me wrong Mark has definitely deserved it in the past, but it's getting pretty blatant with the favoritism.

I think the judges feel pressure to reward Mark kind of like they did with SW just because they’re stars and because of all the sponsor money implications

The hand slide on the rail was easily the coolest thing I saw

Would love to see the breakdown of scores from the judges. Mark and Red's rail game was weak compared to the others, seems the whole score came down to the bottom 2 jumps.

Mark didn't deserve his score even with bottom 2 jumps. He didn't do 1800s. Many others did.

Mons or rene shouldve taken it.. need more points for style... Regardless all you guys killed it

Maybe the judges wigged out and thought he actually busted out an 1800 on the last jump? Or they’re just in such a habit of giving him a high score they did it without thinking

Marks first run wasnt worth 95.33 it waa a 91 max the same with his last run 96 the judges were way too generous. Renne was my favourite by far style and original tricks for days.

Thumb nails still on point “No one” can do the run Rene did but still not good enough for first.😢

Just got to say this has been the best changes in a very long time, judging, riding, weather, and of course we can’t forget about women’s knuckle buck as well as the new street park competition giving riders from different disciplines more eyes.

Red really woke up and chose violence. Have a day bro!!

Having the commentators in the mix like this made this my favourite winter edition so far, and they seem to love it too

We have runs like Renes first, there is supposedly a judge out for creativity.. and then these competitions always goes to the cookie cutter gymnastics?

Like in every comp they talked about the creaticity aspect and when somebody did somethin creative they got shitty scores

The nostalgia from these videos, growing up I remember Xgames 2000 LOL. I dont even snowboard and watched the whole vid

Rene always kills, but also gets wildly underrated scores… it’s like creativity, variety and doing different tricks from other competitors is pretty much worthless. But a frontside spin followed by a backside spin , or the reverse, is somehow the most amazing thing since slicing bread with a sharp carving 😞😞😞

FINALLYY!! Gerard got his gold. Also there is no one with more style on a snowboard than Rene!! It's his turn in 2025 for that gold and Rene x GimbalGod, a better love story than twilight. The slopestyle is so difficult, you can do everything in your arsenal but still it's not certain you are going to win because there are two certain guys Mark and Marcus who can do mad things on that 3rd run. Everyone is so good but two beat these two you need something special and that was special. What a run.

I love Mark Mcmorris, hes my favorite rider and the reason i started snowboarding in tge first place. But it did seem like some bias judging towards him. I can appreciate that he acknowledged it tho by saying the judges were generous and how it could be cleaned up.

Trip back rodeo was best trick of the contest. Trying to remember if anyone has done a quad back rodeo.

I can get with this. Red 100% deserved first but Mark was scored too high especially first run as he admitted himself. Great competition though, I wouldn't want to be a judge

Get another 5+ years of experience. Push yourself to breaking point, keeping in mind the tricks you will need to be in contention by the time you make it to x games will make todays teicks seem like childs play.

Amazing stuff!!!! .. BUT.. When I think SLOPESTYLE I think MTB... This Snowboard Slopestyle is just a few railslides then more big air spinning and less STYLE... You could maybe make an on- off box (whale tail).. maybe a 5m trickable drop at the start.. a gap jump somewhere.. anything!!! ...... loop the loop.... LOL just more FEATURES in general.. GET CREATIVE!!
