These are pretty cool dude! One thing i dont exactly understand though is: you said Clarence and stuart were a pain to draw, so i was expecting a simplification, but you made it arguably more complex? Sure the design tackles all of the other facets like making the drums more incorporated, and it is pretty cool! (Plus on top of that it has a cool color pallete) but if anything it made them a bit more complicated? Nothing wrong with that but you noted thay they were a pain to draw. You essentially kept their originals designs and stuck them in a mech. My critique isnt that they didn't change, but rather that you didnt really solve the problem of them being difficult to draw, and honestly seeing as the most difficult part was PROBABLY the drums themselves (i could be wrong but i can argue for the other end of this too) you essentially traded that out for a giant mech. Now you have to draw drums, the mech, AND clarence + stu. I may be overcomplicating things but i just couldn't get this outta my head, i don't mean any offense.

I made the cool personal decision to drop out trying to draw full bodies of them and just put them in a circular mech which is inherently harder to mess up.

Nonsense! It’s nonsense and it’s silly! I’d rather prefer old versions because they are natural!
