As far as I’m aware yes Jooheon records all of the demos on the songs he make

In "And", I believe the guy next to I.M is his friend Wooki who is a part of I.M's underground hip hop crew called "Coda Crew". Fun fact, Wooki is the guy playing the guitar in I.M's cover song "Instagram" kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y32sl9OAh6zdkdo.html I.M's crew helped produce his solo songs. Jooheon is also part of an underground rapper crew called Noark Crew. You will find I.M and Jooheon's crew members in the song credits for some if not most of Monsta X's songs since they assist in the song writing, directing and production as well. In "Burning Up" the guy with the British accent helping Hyungwon in production is Sam Carter (from Arirang Radio). He's half British and half Korean and helped produce some of Monsta X's songs like Livin It UP and Secrets. He also helped produce Wonho's songs like Losing You and Lose.

In Monsta X the introverts are I.M, Hyungwon and Shownu....the extroverts are Jooheon, Minhyuk and Kihyun.

it was SOOO interesting to see their different styles of directing!! Jooheon is super specific about very little things, I.M and Hyungwon much more relaxed and encourage the members to sing the way they feel is best This is our first time seeing the behind of Hyungwon and I.M directing their own songs so we're also just 🤯 we always enjoyed their songs so much so its about time we got to see how the magic comes to be! I.M is very introverted but he's actually not like that around the members and his close friends 😅 I think here, he was just super tired and also music recording is kinda more serious for the boys If you watch shows like Monsta X Ray, you'll see he's actually quite animated and hilarious!!! Also we get to see more of the members treating him like the maknae he is ☺️😍

yeah it was so cool hey!!! I love seeing stuff like this. I am also super intrigued to get to see I.M's personality much more. He is fascinating to me haha

changkyun isn’t really intimidating 😅 like he says in his verse, yes I’m a geek 😂 or his album being called duality. he’s introverted and gentle but he can also show his really funny goofy energy (hilarious). he loves flowers and scents, recording in his studio, he’s inquisitive and he’s sweet like he’d leave gifts on minhyuk’s pillow and take his make up off for him or randomly ring jooheon and say ‘I miss you, hyung’, stays peaceful when other members argue, giggles really cute and acts like a cat 😂people seem to think he’s stand offish or arrogant but he’s just introverted or thinking deeply about what he wants to say. He also hosted a radio show midnight idol with kihyun until recently which really suited his mellow vibe ❤️also did you see he has a new flower tattoo on his arm?👀

I need to look into him more! He is literally my “bias” but I don’t really know a lot about him hahaha. I don’t see him as arrogant at all. To me he comes across confident and calm, and doesn’t feel like he needs to be loud to be “heard” if that makes sense? Can’t wait to dive into him more 😍🙈

we love to see these behind the scenes and the producer sides of the members. its refreshing

So for the song love jooheon was producing because that is his song. He’s the one that did that song. So he was the one that was recording and helping the other members with there part because the vision he has for the song. When it comes to When hyungwon is leading them it’s because those are hyungwon songs. Same with IM AND Is IM song. So when it’s there songs they are the ones that will produce it and lead them in the right direction.

You noticed Changkyun is very introverted. He is a quiet maknae. 😸 Although he seems veeery comfortable with Jooheon and matches with Hyungwon well. He lives with Kihyun and Minhyuk btw.(Wonho used to live with them too ) Shownu is another introvert. It would be interesting for you to watch Shownuayo vlogs. Shot before his enlistment. CK & SN can still get shy while together.😁 But be sure CK is like his baby brother, and SN makes CK smile,laugh so much. There's also a hilarious "making of Fighter part switch" video and fighter part switch dance practice video. (switching parts with a member)

my first impression to I.M is intimidating and cold, but when i slowly getting to know this man he's the sweetest and cutest man i've ever seen same as jooheon too

59:44 That's Wooki! Those guys are from Changkyun's producing group of friends called Coda Crew! you'll find that he worked on most (if not all) of changkyun's songs with him! He had a catchphrase "Make it Wooki" that you can hear in some of his MX songs!!!

I'm just at the beggining of the video, but I wanted to tell you a fun fact: Monbebe is a really versatile name. We change it for everything. There is mombebes (mbb who have children), monbaby/monbabies/newbebe (the new ones), clownbebes (this is for those times when we star to making up theories and stuff and then look like clowns) and a lot more. There are even names for those who have bias: Nunubebe (Shownu), Joobebe (Jooheon), Minbebe (Minhyuk), etc I'll keep wactching, bye♥

They are implementing a fine system in which they receive 50,000 won for one minute late, 100,000 won for 20 minutes late, and twice the amount per hour. Hi , love to see a fellow Aussie k pop fan! I’m 53 years old and my family and friends give me a bit of flack when I go on and on about my faves but it’s been a few years so they just indulge me now and I even got my 63 year old sister listening to Monsta x after their The Dreaming album🤗🤣 I love a few groups but Monsta X and BTS are now “my boys” as my real sons have grown up and left home so everything k pop keeps me company and makes me happy. And Monsta X boys are super fun and extremely talented!! Shownu is my bias( missing him a lot with all these performances without him) but Joohoney is coming in a close second- he is fricken adorable and funny. And even at my age, all very Hot🔥haha. And Hyungwon cracks me up too with his sass. Anyway, will look forward to more reactions of these gorgeous men . Hope one day we might get to see them in Oz 🙏🙏

Yay so happy to meet a fellow Aussie kpopper lol!! My friends give me a bit of flack as well, they try to pretend like they don’t think I’m weird but I can read their faces. It’s a bit sad actually 🤣 but hey it is what it is. Just happy I have my channel to connect with others who will make me feel somewhat normal hahaha BTS are my babies. TMI, Monsta X doesn't have a hierarchy in the group. They speak informally to eachother but of course still calling "Hyung(형)" to the older ones... And beside that they casually behave to eachother like a friend and brother so no particular uncomfort just because IM is the maknae...

This is the first time we got to see Hyungwon and IM directing, this is the 4th album Hyungwon is producing songs (like involved on everything like you searched, lyrics, arranged and composed), we had his first song on Fatal Love album (Nobody Else), One of a Kind (Secrets & BEBE), No Limit (Mercy) and now on Shape of Love (Wildfire & Burning Up). I.M and Jooheon have been in part of producing bsides since their debut, both of them always write their own rap and have been working on songs for their albuns. Oh also sorry I’m rewatching your reaction. 😂 but I don’t know if anyone else told you or if you found out some other way. But when IM talks to someone who is British he will have a British accent. Also his British accent comes out every now and then and he doesn’t know why lol. He’s even said that his Boston accent is even gone that he can’t even do his Boston accent which makes him sad because that is where he lived. Besides Korea ofcourse Boston is IM home :).

I used to sing and be in choir and things like that and they taught us when you sing to have your mouth open like you have three fingers in your Mouth. Because the notes and the words come out a lot more smoothly. So my guess is the reason why he was holding his chin was probably to keep his mouth open enough so his notes come out smoothly. Now I don’t know if that’s why I just don’t know when I did vocal it’s a technique we did. So I’m wondering if maybe that’s why he was holding his chin. Okay I think I’m done 😂

I love how pouty he is and invested and how sweet he is to his members. His part in Burning Up, also, makes me fall so hard. Love the swag and the care for his job. I find it interesting and fun how you're learning about their personality in a work setting, because most people I've seen would go like; MV/live performances (work), variety shows (personality/fun side of the members). While all of them take their work very seriously, you can still see their personality here, even though not as much as you would see in variety shows/interviews. Btw 38:07, I.M was talking to the director; Jooheon called him Sam, when he was confused with the director's and Hyungwon's voice in the beginning of this recording session

I am doing a variety show of there’s as well! But I like to see “work setting” personalities also because I feel that’s their true focused personality. Whereas variety shows have some level of exaggeration. Still awesome to see how they “come alive” in settings like that though 😍

I sure hope you'll dive more into Monsta X, I love those reactions to their behind content! As a monbebe who's been following them for years, it's so funny to see you call Changkyun intimidating, even though I kind of see where it's coming from. He's the kind of introvert who can be very stoïc and even aloof in front of strangers and in unfamiliar environnment, but when he gets comfortable, his personnality really shines through! As you learn more about them, you'll realize that he's overall a huge nerd and a kitten trying to act as a panther. He loves the attention of his hyungs, especially Shownu, Hyungwon and Jooheon, and they all baby him a lot. He also whines a lot 😂

Korean accents when speaking English is usually closer to Australia or New Zealand than British. Since S Korea is relatively close to Australia and New Zealand, it's typical for families that can afford to send their kids overseas to study to send them there. That being said, if they have enough money, sending them to England is also plausible... but it's fairly uncommon to be able to study in the US due to visa issues. That being said, it's often hard to tell as they return and lose a lot of their accents except for certain words or sentences. In this case, IM lived in Boston when he was younger and speaks English fluently. Not sure on the PD's accent since I don't know his history.

MX are indeed very close to each other but their dynamic is a bit different because Kihyun and Hyungwon grew up in very conservative families so they keep some level of formality? But with like I.M and Jooheon i believe they don't really care much I.M is usually quite and reserved, he prefers to listen more and speak less, but if he's with the members he gets a little *too* crazy it's hilarious i love his personality so much

Guide tracks are usually recorded by someone hired by the writers for them to send out to companies as a demo. In the case of songs written by Monsta X members, they are usually recorded by Jooheon or the member who wrote the song. In the case of Kihyun's high note, that was Jooheon with pitch correction in post processing so Kihyun could know how high the note needed to be, but Jooheon did not actually sing the note that high.

Hyungwon or the other guy doing a British accent through me off when i watched this the first time too.. I rolled it back a few times, and started laughing like "noooooo" it cant be him, it has to be the other producer...

So Jooheon and I.M have their own group of people; that help them produce/ arrange the song. For example Jooheons guys are the ones he introduced when they recorded LOVE and I.M’s crew it’s the guy with the neck tattoo . If you look at the songs written by the rap line you’d usually see their crews name on there too.🙂

You should really look up IM (or all of them) speaking English. 🤣🤣🤣 Changkyun speaks English with a cross between a Bostonian accent from America and a British accent (at least to me). It is adorable. 🥰🥰 I am sure others have informed you who he was speaking to. 🤣🤣🤣

I.M lived in Boston for 3 years and in Israel 4 years so he's fluent in english, however his accent is a bit all over the place, he usually sounds american but over the years he seems to somehow have aquired a bit of a british accent as well. Nobody really knows why or how, he himself says he doesn't really know what his accent is, it's just the way it comes out ^^.
