Thank you for reacting to them. Monsta X is actually one of the groups Stray Kids look up to. They pioneered this aggressive sound in kpop. They're from 3rd generation. Though they're mostly known for their aggressive sound, they are VERY versatile and release songs in three different language- English, Japanese, and Korean. their english songs have a different vibe from their Korean CBs and they pull it the fxck off. they're just really amazing. Their sound is always improving and they are not afraid to try different genres. Three members also write and produce songs for the group and for their solo projects. Jooheon and IM (the rappers) are the best rappers in kpop right now, imo. So if you're up to checking some of their stuff out, I also recommend checking out Sambakja. If you're looking for another song to follow up Shoot Out, i highly suggest Stuck or Alligator. If you want a look at a different side, try Love Killa.

And when you discover those rappers can SING, not like a rappers just trying to tune something but actually SING and they have some of the best vocals of the industry, constantly being praised for how good they sound live. And yeah, they are the only 3rd gen boy group who keep and developed this style this long and are, of course, one of the biggest inspiration of 4th gen boy groups (and even some girl groups) style, which combines that kind of dark visuals and noisy music, they literally made an style by their own.
