It wouldn't be considered dark humor in European countries or the U.S. (a bit) or certain other countries. He most likely had a culture shock from someone "bringing themselves down" in a funny way, which is extremely rare to happen in South Korea. For example, only a couple of Korean comedians have the guts to make fun of their own physical "flaws," and they only do it rarely. Basically, dark humor involves bringing someone else on oneself down through humor, making fun of cultural/social matters, controversial topics, using sarcasm/irony, etc.

NeFran49 I'm clearly not talking about when they're performing their shows. Everyone knows they're performing and nothing that comes out of their mouths is seen as serious. Comedy is the purpose, whether it's dark or light humor. This video isn't about a comedy show with that purpose, just in case you haven't noticed.

To them it's no big deal, since they're used to sleep 2-3 hours a day in South Korea. They'll even have lunch on their way to an interview while coming from another interview. And it's great that Starship is letting them go around all these interviews because that will attract more fans.
