One of the main reasons i like your channel. You are really out there the whole time. I see a lot of channels out there where it looks like they go out there. Set the tent up and leave. They then shoot all the footage probably inside a building or backyard and insert the rain sounds. They never show the outside of the tent during the rain the door is always closed. Another thing is they are bringing food that would spoil and make them sick if they hiked all that way out in the middle of nowhere. This includes eggs and no egg case to hold them. But you always pack realistic items. Food that can keep for more than a day.

Great relaxing video. I liked: 1. No loud chopping, hammering, sawing noises like in all the other camping videos. 2. Moments of rest, protected only by the equipment you bring.(No digging holes, stacking rocks, mixing clay with your hands...etc.) 3. Time stamp helps me bridge everything together and makes me feel like I am there. I will be watching more of your videos.Thank you.

Impressive ! What a challenge but the reward is coziness and relaxing under those raindrops.. I prefer if there are other campers around for company and security. Campers need not close to the tent. Am falling asleep as if I was under the tent too.😊 it must be warm rain.

The sound of rain on a tent or tarp has to be one of the most soothing and relaxing sounds, ever. I could fall asleep listening to that in no time at all

I always enjoy watching people camp in the rain. It feels so cozy to me. Thank you for bringing us camping with you. 🥰 It seems logical that it would be better to set the tarp up first like you did and then put the tent up under it so you would stay out of the rain while setting up the rest of the camp. Now, THAT's some heavy rain happening. I like the tarp set-up over the tent and that's a very nice tent you have, there.

I also love a good rain 😊 we did not get much rain where we lived in California but we now live in Texas where we get rain at least a couple days a week 😅enjoy your camping trip

With this kind of rain, a tarp & tent set up is mandatory - unless your goal was to sit out in the rain for several hours! There really isn't anything else like camping during heavy rain! The fresh air and smells, and the wonderful feel of refreshing stray rain drops is total joy.

Definitely 100%! Sleeping while it’s pouring rain outside while your all tucked in nice and cozy in the tent is nothing short of heaven for me! The smell of fresh rain is beautiful too.

I live in an arid desert and we don't get this kind of rain. We have mostly scattered showers that lasts a few minutes to a couple of hours. Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience.

I always get clean area to prevent dangerous animals come. Only small insects usually get inside
