I like this. I like it a lot. Gold’s “shut it” and “it’s not fair” makes me think that you remembered Gold was ten and didn’t have to say some big fancy word like most of the lyrics that these videos have. Yes, Gold is now technically 17 but he’d still act like hes 10 because he’s never grown or interacted outside the void since then.

(The mod made me come back to Pokemon, which I’m still trying to remember since its been nearly four years but i don’t follow the mod creator whatsoever)

As soon as I saw this in my feed I thought “ here we go again, another effortless video where the lyrics cover half the screen and don’t even match with the song” but this isn’t that, THIS is amazing!! The thing that sells me the most is the choice of vocals mixed with that fact that gold sounds genuinely pissed. Incredible work, and I hope this level of quality continues for future videos.

(example: for a *tiger* to keep on living, a *deer* has to perish. kinda like that. it ALSO has another meaning in the form of choices. like, use this as an example, some of the saw movies. where you have to choose to save one person, or another/yourself. so for *something* (a person/yourself) to keep on living, *something* (person/youself) has got to perish.) the second part i *think* is about sacrifices, would you rather same yourself or a person you cherish? "Chaos reigns in the land of darkness, Fall does rain on the hand of kindness, Fire kinders fear does hinder, Gone is nurture!" the first line refers to underdeveloped/places in anarchy, how its chaos with little hope for recovery. (hence, "darkness") the second through fourth line in this verse is about how, in MANY situations, kind people are treated poorly as they're easy to manipulate or take advantage of. *" I ' M D E A D "* why does this need an explanation??? "Truth will always lie, Even the purest in the world will not survive! Smiles cry!" this verse explains how despite how innocent and pure someone is, lies are almost required to get through life (which is very unfortunate, may i add). this is the meaning of the second line. the words: "smiles cry" refers to how many people fake smiles to seem happy, and that they're suffering. *"SHUT IT!"* gold is getting mad at BF for continuously interrupting. Spend their nights, say they’re alright, Just to hide the fact that they’re dead inside!" this shouldn't be that hard to figure out. this refers to how people with trauma/depression often say they're alright, just to hide their pain and agony, as their life feels like its been reduced to nothing but pain. Honestly though, I've heard a couple different "Monochrome but with lyrics," videos but this has got to be the best one I've seen. The idea of turning the screaming within the song into lyrics themselves was a great touch, one that I've never heard before. If he continues to make these kinds of videos I'm definitely subscribing. Also I feel like all the lyrics are filled with such burning hatred that just brings the lyrics up to a 9/10 for me, & approching the end the hatred turns more into a warning if anything. Some of my favorite parts were : 1:17 (The lyrics themselves are good but the way Nominal sings them is just amazing) 2:17 (specifically the final part).

Don’t know why but I LOVE the line ‘Smiles Cry’, showing that showing ‘happiness’ doesn’t necessarily mean you ARE happy. In Gold’s case, he has nothing left, but pain when ALREADY DEAD. He’s suffering while trying to keep a positive image to disregard the pain.

Junos gold is warning BF with a cautionary tale, while this one is straight up pissed at the world

I love the pure ANGER that gold radiates in his voice, obviously just wanting everyone to be happy, but knowing the worst of man still lives on. Edit: said anger is much more noticeable in his scream parts, specifically parts such as "SHUT IT!" Or "IT'S NOT FAIR!" As that really hammers in the dread and anger he's struggling to hold back, knowing he has little power over everything, and that BF will probably just ignore him.

I got chills everytime Gold screamed, I felt the pure, chaotic rage in these words. Good job man!

I like to think that this version of gold is a lot more "hostile" towards BF, implied by Gold basically screaming at him, with words such as "S̵̮̈́H̵̞͌Ǘ̶̜Ṯ̸̓ ̵̥͘I̵͓̐T̴̖͆" and "F̴͇̌A̶͖͊L̷̖͆L̸͝ ", and while most people would just leave it at that, I like to think that the reason why he's so "rude" is that this Gold isn't completely controlled by unown, and is more distraught about his death, heavily implied because of the line, "I̸͕͐T̴̡͛'̸͉̐S̵̖̍ ̶̲̀N̶̥͌Ơ̶̰T̶̽ͅ ̷̓͜F̸̲̅A̷̟͠I̵͓̍Ȓ̸͎". Where as other Golds, Brodo and Juno specifically, are just husks controlled by unown to pass on Gold's story.

I love hearing these with lyric video, It's always awesome to see how people not only interpret what they lyrics are, But the voice they give to the person singing

HOLY 1:43 actually made me feel something, the part where it fell out of sync and felt messy really made it feel as if you were in a room dizzy in seconds, amazing, it made me feel confusion and the feeling of being lost

I always love hearing people sing the lyrics rather than just showing the lyrics because you can hear the tone and mood of the song, this is amazing, and I can't wait to hear more

1:16 through 1:40 is the best part for me. The screaming and the swinging of the voice is so good. Definitely the *best* Monochrome lyric video by far.

You can feel the true rage and hatred behind the vocals. I’ve listened to a few other lyric adaptations but this is the best one in my book.

Casual FPS counter in the top left, noice :) In all seriousness this is an amazing lyric adaptation of the song, and I was not expecting that type of anger filled voice to come out of a lifeless corpse, very well done!

Thank you so much! in response to the lyrics not fitting Gold, he's is talking about how messed up the world is. The lyric "Chaos reigns in the land of darkness, fall does rain on the hand of kindness" is him saying that the world is full of chaos and destruction, and kindness is often scarce and left out. Fall does rain on the hand of kindness is basically saying that kindness is left outside in the rain. based on the few things I've seen about Gold, I just feel like most of the things said in the lyrics would be things he'd reference and talk about from time to time. I might do a video about Gold just saying things, just to really drive home this idea

this is the best cover of monochrome I have ever seen and heard. "ITS NOT FAIR!" really got shivers down my spine.

The “gone is nurture” and “Smiles cry” parts were really good

I love how not only does gold scream with his mouth, he screams with his empty lifeless eyes. Not a metaphor, he literally screams with his eyes and his mouth disappears in his right pose lol.

Nice creativity with the lyrics. I've never seen anything so unique and realistic for an FNF song

I like how almost all of the gold monochrome lyrics have a subtle cautionary warning to them. Juno's is dont have faith that your legacy of achievement will stand firm against the sands of time. And Dingus is "Be careful who you cherish" and beware the world around you. It's really cool!

i love how your Gold is just extremely pissed at times, like he has wanted to scream so loud that reality itself bends and buckles around him, but he also wanted someone to actually hear it. so he's waited and waited, letting that rage build up inside of him until BF comes along and gets the loudest eardrum massacre of his mortal life

Holy snap, this one is actually really well done. There were points where I actually moved back and was intimidated by the sheer emotion within Gold’s voice.
