The hunter actually met the thin man. The thin man is the main antagonist of the game, and he's mostly responsible for everything that Mono and Six met in the game.

I love all the theories people make!! Like how Mono and The TVs are connected that much that if so the time loop we’re broken mono wouldn’t survive because the “game” wasn’t ment to be that mono and six escape together, and in my theory, adding to that so if that happens the game resets after mono disappears, and six will only remember that, to the point she realised she has to let him go for the better.

my guy rlly made a whole short movie with a small segment from the game

so technically, the hunter’s backstory makes sense bc it explains mostly why everyone wants to get Mono, not Six. So mono is the thin man, and the thim man distorted the LN2 antagonists’ lives, so now they seek for revenge on Mono since he is the thin man. also, maybe the hunter captured Six to bribe Mono. That also kinda explains why he doesnt kill Six and other antagonist either capture Six to leave Mono in a harder situation alone like seen in the school

This was epic! I loved seeing the Hunter's backstory, Mono's dab, and the whole chase scene was great! The Hunter's family seemed so cute too! The only thing is, shotguns (like the Hunter and Mono and Six fired) don't use bullets. They use shot (hence the name), which is a collection of small lead pellets. So instead of bullets flying towards the Hunter at the end, it should be a small cloud of tiny lead pellets.

Another amazing animation in my bag for Little nightmare !. Tragic till the end but grows intense in the chase with some nice stop motion visuals( let's also not forget that title mentions about the dabbing and jojo references , those were damn good to watch ) . Ok, now I'm trying to imagine how could I feel sorry for the Teacher... first, the young Hunter had his family harmed, then he was harmed himself and, to top it all off, he was killed by the same person.. 😧 But, dude, Six and Mono's relationship its getting so beaultiful that, in THIS animation series, I simply can't be angry about what she did in the end, I just feel sorry for 'em

aaaah it was only after watching this that I realized the Hunter was likely the sole survivor from the effects of the Pale City. I never connected the effects of deformity from the TV to the opening chapter. My guess is that the Hunter wasn't a monster-he's the only one who chose to cover his face, likely because he couldn't bear to see himself anymore, which is an unlikely behavior if he were just some rando signal monster. So it makes it depressing that the only person who survived got shot by Six. He's probably also stuck in the time loop along with Mono, having to die over and over again each time Mono fails his mission.

I like how you animated a backstory for the Hunter, this animation was super too!

*How did this person manage to add so much backstory that makes sense-* Also because of this I know believe that every LN2 “villain” is really just looking for revenge on the Tall Man and see him in Mono (like how Six did in one of Pol’s animations)
