2 weeks ago I was withdrawing and I threatened to bash my boss at work. went home and was ready to end everything sitting alone with my bottle, bag and Shotgun. building up the strength to pull the trigger, this song came on and It brought me to tears and stopped the demon from pulling me down and made me realise I can make changes to fix my life for my little 2 boys and to be the dad they deserve. Im the same as u mate, 12 years everyday never come down, went to prison came out clean for the first time since i was 18, months after getting out this song was released n it blew my mind, 3 years i was clean, then my dad died infront of my eyes which caused me to have a seizure and the doctors took my licence away which made it so hard to see my kids that live 500km away and i just relapsed n spiralled out of control, i listen to this song everyday and after a week i just stop completly sleep n eat for a week then came good n never looked back.. i dont think i could of done it without this song or without going back to prison again
