Couldn't agree more Jamie with your comments on snowboarding and motorcycling offering similar enjoyment - I'm a skier myself but the same thought has hit me whenever I'm on the slopes hairing down a black run or winding through the twisties on a motorcycle....both great outdoor pursuits requiring attention to your surroundings, concentration and skill! Lovely video as ever, enjoyed that and thanks for posting....(PS You should try flying if you haven't already, offers the same set of key ingredients...)

Bro whenever I watch your videos, you make me grab my helmet and gear and just ride! Cheers

yeah unitl you realize you dont live in the beautiful mountains and the best scenery is an old ShopRite
Looks like a lot of camerawork and editing or production went into this video, very pleased and enjoying it. Love the Monkey! Such a fun bike it seems. Amazin'
"Its low power is perfect for the tricky conditions ahead..." *proceeds to move 2 cubic acres of dirt with the rear tire*
Will be good to be back on a bike again when I collect my Red Honda Monkey on November 7th can't wait. Let the adventure begin!
That looks like so much fun! I wouldn't dare take my Thruxton out on that though. Way too heavy and I would hate to see it slip. And all the nice work I've put into it go bye bye. And I have been caught in a snow storm on it before a few years back. Super sketchy but made it in one piece and no slips thankfully. That little Monkey really did the trick though. The background music fits so well. Almost like someone is out and about "Monkeying around," haha! Couldn't help it, I had to say it. Man I have to thank you, because of your videos I invested into a Jetboil a few years ago and it is the perfect compact cookware you could have. I've brought that thing on long hike trips into the mountains to camp out as well as those long rides. It's a genius little thing. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys long trips where packing light is key. Motorcycles and snowboarding? I'm in! I've been skateboarding for years but haven't been in the snow yet. Really hoping to change that this season before it ends. It looks like a lot of fun! I'm watching this as I eat breakfast and now I want a burger. Lunch perhaps. Haha! Great vid, it really was an excellent watch! Cheers man! Ride safe!✌️

No way he eats all that. Should share that breakfast with the camera man.
It looks like a really fun bike to ride around! Here in Chile it's not available, so I haven't seen it live, but some weeks ago I meet a Honda Z50A (1977) and damn, I liked it very much! Nice footage and shots as usual! :D
Cute little bike! 😁
i love the way Jamie combines the rides between the bites
This video is so cute and peacefully satisfying
Beautiful country !
! Yes you looked like Buzz Lightyear when you had the snowboard strapped to your back !
Your videos always hit the spot, me old mucker. You should be the marketing manager for every major manufacturer! I rode my BMW K1OOrt through snow one time to visit my doctor because I had a sore back. He said I know what's giving you a sore back. It's your BMW K100rt.
Looking like Ewan Mcgregor half way through Long Way Round! haha
Great video... Tyrion's older full sized brother! ;-)
Been riding Honda Helix scooters (250cc) in sunny Florida' so much fun. A slow ride fast is a blast, its about the size of the smile not the engine.
Jamie, one of my fav bike content publishers! Love your vids, mate, hope you make a special one day, with Zach and Ari! That'd be awesome!
I just discovered your channel last week and I am addicted to your videos man! Can’t stop watching! Good job! And thank you!
Thank you, Jamie, for all that (shared) wonderful moments, bikes, nature & culinary impressions... best, as always & ever ... ich feiere Dich !!! 😍💪🏻✨😜👌🏻Greetings from the Black Forest 🇩🇪
Nice mountain man beard! What a fun little bike...
I can't be the only person who immediately thought of Dumb & Dumber... lol Great Vid as usual Jamie
good looking burger. did you upgrade the tires? seems like you mentioned that somewhere. the monkey seems to fit that perfect niche for those of us that never quite grew up.
Love your channel
Jamie, you've got a great attitude for trying new activities, that looked like a total blast.
I wasn't sure about snowboarding, then that i saw the fun motorcycle ride and cheeseburger, now I'm sold!
Love this! Had a ninja green 75cc Kawasaki that looked identical to the Honda Monkey Bike in the 80's. You bet that I monkey'ed around on that thing. Miss it badly as it was cool and my first bike!
Always nice video 👍🏼
Wow you sure do eat a lot for a little guy! Great video 👍
As always another great video .... I often take long rides on my grom when I'm not on my tiger 800 ... 👍👍
thnx for giving such an amazing experience keep going...
I like the new old guy with the beard doing your videos now. Keep it up!
I had a honda 50 when I was 5 and loved it! Today I have a kawi klr 650. TFS!
Dope mini bike
great vid, great wee bike from bonnie scotland
Another fun vid. How do you stay so slim?? That breakfast was mega and then a double mountain burger... I'm so hungry now 👍😜
I have same color bike.i just put on mobber tires from shinko. Works better on trails.great road trip outting.
What a charmer. Bike is cute as well.
Nice beard Jamie 😆 !!
Love the vid, put a big smile on my face! The Lil Monkey is too cool. I ride up from SBdno area for Brkfst or Lunch on my Hog or XR650R all the time. What a Blast!
Monkey made into a small ADV machine would be perfect without about 4-6 more hp.
Honda Monkeh! :D Awesome video!
I rode my 50cc moped halfway up Angeles Crest the other day in the snow lol... So much fun.
10:46 I'd be lying if I said I've never had to make the same admission and I'm not talking about motorcycles.
Looked like a chilly ride up the Angeles Crest, that's was my weekend haunt up there back in the early 80's till I hit a deer on my 83' GPZ550

Effin deer. Did you ever ride 39 all the way up there? Closed in 78...would drive our cars up there, or borrow bikes. Lived in Upland so would make a loop of Baldy Road, Glendora Ridge, East Fork, 39, 2, Lone Pine, Old 66.
Can't believe that exhaust system survived the off road stuff. It hangs so low.
Good stuff Sir!!
Honda should come out with a small cb125 or 250 like the old days. We don't have many small bikes on the market

Millions of those small inexpensive motorbikes and scooters are manufactured but are sold only in southeast Asian countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia.
Jamie, your passion for the sport always inspires me and your love of food is always so fun to watch. I just priced this bike out for fun....$4199 US ....boy oh boy I bought new in September my CRF 250L for the same price.

Same here in Germany, prize tag is 4.200 €. I got my new cb 300r for the same amount. That's way to expensive, but the low consumption is fantastic, only 156 MPG's.
Great video, thanks for posting this!
Awesome ride!
Entertaining as always Jamie. If you are over 6ft surely that bike is out of the question no matter how much fun. It looks way too small for you mate, looks like you've pinched one of your kids bike for the day!

Jamie sure loves burgers.
Working the beard! Nice.
Great Video
When ever I watch these vids I feel hungry
One of the best roads in the world! Loved driving there. I wish it was closer to me 😄

Funny I never drove that road I have been up there on the other side many times, the road was always closed going down in the winter.
This resonates on so many levels. Impressive machine, I'm wondering how it does on our scenic off road trail system
So this Alpimestar set up makes decent snowboard gear... Hummm one more reason to get more gear 😂
Everything was perfect! Brilliant :-)
It looks a funny day. 😁
Good video!
You must have an incredible metabolism because you eat a lot of food don't know how you are not as big around as you are tall.
Awesome!
Hey, Jamie! I just got this bike too and I'm looking for my first adventure somewhere on the East Coast. Any thoughts on the Pirellis? I was either gonna go for the SL60s or maybe Heidenau K58s (140/70-12 and 130/70-12 so a 1/2" shorter roughly back and front). The bike has 1 mile only and I'm not sure I want to use the Vee Rubber at all. thanks in advance for any advice! Kate
Goddamn! There are a ton of good places to eat in the US! A very jealous Canadian, I am.
The next bike I'm getting a Honda Monkey...Super Cub for summer, Monkey for the winter snow
Eat breakfast, fill up the gas tank, lose half your power-to-weight ratio. hahahaha
This is my backyard. This is one of our many go-to roads but I try to avoid it on the weekends mostly because of all the bicycles taking up the road. That and the Ricky-racers who ride beyond what their talent allows. On average, a bike goes down every weekend and one dies about every four months. Those riders are easy to spot too. Way too confident. There is just too much random gravel to ride fast here. No matter your talent level. But I do love the ride all the way to Wrightwood.
There are 2 types of snowboarders: those who crashed and those who... give up and go ride a motorcycle instead.
Excellent. Try doing that on a gs.... Think you need to start awarding your burgers marks out of ten.. Happy travels
So no amount of clutch control solves the wheel spin problem? We need something to accurately control the wheel rotations, like 60-120 RPMs on snow
I gained 10 lbs watchin this vid lol
I was wondering if/when you would get to this bike.
You were still hungry after that breakfast?
The Angeles NF is the only part of this state I'll miss when I move. I'm definitely moving still tho

Do you recall how cold it was? Looked like fun!
Subscribed! Just discovered your channel the other day, looking for an adventure fix while my v-strom is down with a broken engine. :-( I really like the generous use of drone footage. What drone are you using, and is the pilot 107 certified?
Nice!
Can’t decide if I’d own one of these.

Tell me about it. I want one but not sure why.
Ever since I watched this video back in February I’ve been thinking about getting a monkey for my winter commute, among many other things. I live near Lyon, at the foot of the French alps and would like to keep riding year round... I wonder if a monkey would help
Hey, nice vid! How do you like the sl60's compaired to the mt60's? Are they just as good in the corners? Cheers 😊
Nice beard!
I don’t think that Monkey makes enough power for electric gear?
Reminds me of dumb and dumber when they first got into Aspen on that mini bike.
@mickfitz76

Yes. Hahaha
finally!!!!
super vidéo super monkey Alain Pyrénées France thank you
cool video...…..BUT...…….. tell us more about the bike and how you rate it
How you like the setup open helmet w/ goggles? very nice video btw
If hat little monkey even had ten more hp I'd go buy one today.
@huemungus4269
4 жыл бұрын
You 100% do not need 10 more hp. I got an extra 4.8hp on mine with some mods and I wish it was only about half that. I’ve been riding 4 years fyi the bike really is perfect at about 11hp
Just when I think you can't screw up any worse, you go and do something like this and totally redeem yourself!!!
Great Video! Pirelli tires? May i know the tire spec of your monkey?thanks!
GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini
I just have one big problems... Red or yellow...??
Keep that lush beard!
He is in the USA but has such a strong English accent.
I have a Monkey @ the rear light is different! Is that a US-model thing? Loved the video btw!
@mickfitz76

Yes. U.S has different laws regarding space between indicators and tail light size. You should see the Europe/Asian v U.S c125 difference. Horrid.
I would prefer the monkey over the grom if it werent a one seater
you got more brands on you than a NASCAR, must be tough making a living like that
LA is awesome
A guy's gotta feed that stache
