When I went to shop and saw a bottle of Mac Roy's blended Scotch whisky.. bottle looks promising.. curious to know the review..

In rajasthan monkey shoulder is ₹300 cheaper than glenfiddich. So here it becomes more value for money than in delhi.

Malt is barley (a type of cereal grain) which has been germinated and then dried. It is fermented and used to make alcohol like whisky and beer. But other grains can also be used to make alcohol, like corn, rye, wheat, rice, etc. Now, explanation of categories of whisky- 1. Grain whisky: Whisky distilled from grains other than malted barley 2. Malt whisky: Whisky which is distilled from 100% malted barely, and only from malted barley 3. Blended whisky: A blend made by mixing grain whisky and malt whisky, usually from many different distilleries 4. Single malt: A malt whisky (made from 100% malted barley) produced as a product of 1 single distillery 5. Blended/Vatted malt: A malt whisky made by blending malt whiskies from more than one distillery. So single malt means malt whisky which is a product of only 1 distillery (hence SINGLE). There is no such thing as double, triple malt whisky. Mixture of malt whiskies from different distilleries is called blended malt whisky or vatted malt whisky.

GFdchh is also 40% and the price u mentioned is for 700ML Nicely Blended whiskey is always good in compared to single malt and that’s why it’s costly. 🥃 I will always choose MS on GFdchh

Not true, blends are actually usually cheaper to make compared to high quality single malt, because you can mix inexpensive single malts together in a blend. Plus there is no age statement on this blend either, so it can be made from 6,7 year old cuts of single malt instead of all 12 year old plus. Glenfiddich 12 is an entry level single malt and is made in huge quantities that's why it is inexpensive. Otherwise there are plenty of single malts which are much better than monkey shoulder and are higher priced as well

Every imported liquor is very expensive in bangalore because of karnataka state tax on alcohol

With all due respect, you don't need to redo any whisky review, tons of whisky available in world as well as cognac,armagnac,Irish, Japanese....... So bring it all my friend 🥰🥰

Please revisit Peated Whisky collection... And draw comparison between various Islay Region whiskies.... And Sir Mat bataya karo Delhi ke prices it Hurts!
