It’s really interesting, it could be a monkey trait like they don’t believe what they see in front of them. They seem to need more proof before they are excepting. LuLy is not the only monkey I have seen react this way to their owner. The owner of a young male monkey dressed up as Santa Clause, full costume too. The owner was offering the monkey food and yet he ran away when he saw him. He did not go to him until his owner had taken off most of the costume. You would think they would recognise their owners voice first or identify their scent. Maybe monkeys don’t have a very strong sense of smell? So there are other monkeys who are unsettled by change of appearance. LyLy just prefers the familiar, she has proven many times that she thinks for herself and is an intelligent monkey. She also clearly expresses her feelings and emotions. She really does know these things just like a young child. Thanks LyLy and mum, I enjoyed your video. 😊 😊😊😊
