Lyly deserves an Oscar for that performance..I mean she’s way better than any other monkey actor I’ve seen on TV. She had me in hysterics when she peels her dress off and pulls out her bathing suit from the hamper!!

I can't get over Lyly pouting like a typical little girl. I love her just the same.

Lyly is so much like a human child with real feelings. If she only knew how difficult it would be to have both getting a bath at same time. Cats usually don’t like getting bathed so mom should count her blessings it went so well!

@MONKEYMYTHSMORE-wk4tn I did see a channel that has 2 older monkeys and one monkey that is still small. The gentlemen takes very good care of of them and it seems they love him. BUT they are collared and chained and that includes the small one. I'm not trying to be contrary I'm just telling you what I saw. I do not approve of the collars and chains either.

My cat hates me for hours after a bath! & it takes her a couple of days to "recover" " from her "trauma"! Gotta do the once a month flea dip with Dawn. That includes the ferrets but they have come to LOVE their baths. Finally have the damn flea problem under control!!

I don't for a red single moment think lyly is afraid of the cameraman who is after all her dad who has been there all her life Lyly s complaining about how she couldn't go swimming because mum had Tommy in the basin so no room for her. Lyly is becoming very demanding these days and her sulking is not very becoming in fact not only is it off putting its becoming increasingly aggressive and dangerous as when her demands are met she just demands more. She is beginning to expect that anything she sees, wants or sees others with is here and so she must have it given to right away. In other words love her as we do we understand that SHE must be retaught the word no for her own sake Lyly isn't now not will she ever be the Alpha female in the home and if her demanding attitude is not curbed she is going to be thinking she is. She will first turn on the other animals then young Dung then mum res got would be that she lyly is either abandoned in the temple grounds, handed into a sanctuary or even worse just disappears into thin air. All of you commenting on how mum was wrong to send her away because she was busy with tommy, how she hurt lyly feelings and made her sad are not looking for the future. It's a well established fact that as puberty and maturity comes The more aggressive monkey's become unless mum and dad control the aggressive behaviour by making lyly understand that SHE must wait for THEIR DECISION well let's leave it there. Dad ,mum, sung all love lyly as does Tommy you can see the way that Tommy loo led at her and she him But she became over upset, then angry t hen weepy/ clingy It's not good for her or her future. Mum has to teach h her self to be firmer and use the word NO more And we the viewers need to remember that's all we are viewers. Good luck mum. Teach her well so that you can all have a long happy life together

Lyly is growing up and obviously has her own thoughts and feelings. She is definitely angry at Mom Kim and doesn't want to be bothered. Mom Kim, you did nothing wrong in making Lyly do what you told her to do. Just leave her alone and let her sulk. She will come around on her own. This is the first time I have seen Lyly showing true anger at not getting her own way. It's a lesson all teenagers have to learn. Mom Kim wants to comfort Lyly but Lyly just wants to sulk, so just let her. Don't give in to her temper tantrum because Lyly must learn she can't always have her own way.

That's funny! I used to bath my Maine Coon / Tabby Tiger mix cat all the time. She allowed me to bath her without a fight. Spite the old wives tail of cats not liking water, they actually don't mind it. My cat was easier to bath than my dogs.

Different cultures and climate over there. It's extremely warm and dusty meaning all animals are regularly needing to be bathed to not on keep their skin free from dust mites but also stop the constant itch. I have an 19years old ginger Tom cat who isn't quite as quick to be grooming himself these days so yes brushing, clipping session he has a bath now and then not really to cool him as we live in Scotland not exactly known for tropical heatwaves 😂 The simple fact is that like humans animals can loss sense of smell as they age. A quick bath not only refreshed them but also the areas they spend their time in too
