She really wasn't being overbearing to the baby in monkey standards ,things are much different in the wild of course baby's are never left alone and the mothers are very attentive to their young not unlike human mothers except there are many dangers in the wild so the motherly instinct is very strong . This baby isn't in the wild granted , but her instincts are very good ..
