What garp loses? Nah I think we might get a two for 1 special. Aoukigi gives garp the kids and walks or they team up and f the place up. If Moria isnt dead pretty sure he would give them help to. I know moria isnt the strongest but he has plenty of bones to pick. As do others I'm sure. But either way. We gonna see a man while no df show them fear.

@UltimateBallaPOM you forget shanks conquerors puts high tier admirals in fear. And it's already been confirmed that garp has conquerors aswell and top it off he's fully mastered it aswell. People say he don't have conquerors havnt paid attention very well early on. Don chinjao also has conquerors and it was stated during the fight a clash of conquerors that was the same display garp had against Don chinjao. Garp has kings haki. Bb definitely hasn't gotten lazy but he's to soon to fight garp his goal was to set the trap for luffy not for garp cause he knows how much special koby is to him. And garp wouldn't wonder into that territory unless he did some insane crazy training himself since the marineford incident plus he's been training koby. Garp trains before he goes to fight garp ain't going to be the one dying bb crew is gonna take casualties. Garp might end up getting beat some how but he'll be as bait for luffy. If garp dies it would only break luffy like it did with ace and bb goal is something bigger. Because if luffy is broken means bb don't know where luffy is and can't take his fruit etc

i honestly can't wait for garp to be revealed to have conquerors. the amount of folks that have adamantly argued he only has armament is mind numbing.... to compete against conqueror's, you must have conquerors... if you pay attention to the story at all, it's so clear it's hard to believe anyone can argue against it.

Gol D. Serious theory, what if rocks attacked the celestial dragons because he had learned of the truth of the void century(if the shanks is his son and half celestial dragon maybe he learned it from shanks mother) , and during his death he reveals this information to garp and roger that they are pawns for the “real” villain Imu. Rocks asks Roger to watch over his son a, the same way how roger asks Garp to watch over his son after coming back from laughtale. Garp never tries to rise in the marines because he knows the truth of Imu, which leads him to make sword! This is just a theory tho!

He was shown to be wearing a dog mask and also his ship has a huge dog face on the front. It was revealed back at Water 7. In the end, I'd just like to say Monkey D. Garp is another amazing character from One Piece and I hope we see more of him in the future.

I mean "technically" garp has never stopped training. Going as far as training Coby and probably many other Marines. So let's assume he has the same growth potential as Luffy and his ability to absorb strength in short periods of time. Continuing to fight train and grow even after being on par with Roger in his prime, and working in duo to take on rocks. If he continued. His strength would not only be massive but world breaking. Let's assume that he knows "IMU" garp will not sit idle letting that thing rule. Nore would garp jump to dethrone the demon unprepared, he would train, train until he knew he could defeat him while working smart, and shapen his strength like a "sword" in shadows. This man could of been head admiral but he chose to stay where he was at. Why? Well it be harder to train and groom people of admiral level. He is the check point of justice, the one that is building a winning army to dethrone corruption from within. He wanted to recruit Luffy because he knows what he himself is capable of, and he needs to have that at the endgame. Garp is not going to lose. This man is massively under played. He is going to take down black beard and leave him in the dirt alone with his loss which will make his crew question his leadership. Maybe even leading into crew beef to polarize him and Luffy. Black beard has not taken a L yet! Black beard is the other side of the coin of Luffy. I believe both will have their loss. Black beard will handle it horribly however possibly being driven into revenge into mad king levels much like how it's possible rocks was, the real black beard was vengeful, often took hostages for goods holding up ports with blockades and such I believe we will get to see the coin Luffy missed, and see the true strength of garp. I believe black beard will lose his mind with crumble and from the darkness he will rise with uncontrollable amounts of dangerous power rivaling Luffy, and possibly garp and admirals. He must power up, he must be a bigger threat. A threat that rivals and is greater than shanks, and the best most theatrical way oda can do this is to let him lose let him fall let his mind slip back into darkness, his ship sank to the blue, only to arrise a mad man, maybe even a mad pirate king, on the corpse of that vessel until he completely loses his head. Metaphorically and maybe physically like that of Edward teach, and the north Carolina governor did to him a head severed tied to the sloop of a marine vessel.

Actually it's different then you might think. When he took koby his goal was to get luffy so he could try and kill luffy and take his df since it's so over powered and busted and we know he knows about luffys gears 5 full awakening. But... this trap is going to backfire because garp is going in balls deep. Bb only df would do something is that of white beards. And bb ain't going to have fully awakened white beared df in such a short time.his other df is useless against non df users. As for white beared df bb couldn't even handle a normal blow from white beared during the war. It would be impossible for him to master haki fully in short time. Luffy was using haki more then bb these days and has a better control. Now you have garp, garp has conquerors and its confirmed because without conquerors he wouldn't have been able to exchange blows with the pirate king since conquerors is on a whollllleeee another level vs normal haki. Bb won't be able to beat mastery of haki unless it's poorly written and plot which would give tons of outrage in the community lol bb isn't winning this fight. Garp is uberly powerful. This man in his Prime, was on Emperor/Pirate King-level. He along with Gold D. Roger. fought against and defeated and killed Rocks D. Xebec, the most feared criminal during the old Era. Thus earning himself the title “Hero of the Marines”. He was also Gold D. Roger’s Rival and clashed with him multiple times throughout the past. He doesn’t need a Devil Fruit because having one for him is useless. Even past his Prime Garp is still very VERY strong. He is now at Admiral-level, which makes him a candidate for top 10 (if not Top 10). A testament to him being Admiral-level is how he was repeatedly recommended for the Admiral position, but kept turning it down due to wanting to have more freedom, and not wanting to be directly under the Celestial assholes, thus making him the strongest of the Vice Admirals. Also at Marineford, he decided to challenge his Grandson Luffy to a fight, when the latter was on his way to rescue Ace. The reason Luffy defeated Garp is because Garp let him win, if Garp wanted to win and defeat Luffy, he would have, no questions asked, during Marineford, Luffy was nowhere near Garp’s level, the same holds true right now. True Luffy was gotten much, much stronger since Marineford, and can hold his own against Garp and would put up a good fight, but once Garp gets semi-serious/serious, Luffy will lose. Luffy is very, very powerful, but he has a long way to go before he can surpass his Grandfather, he will get to Garp’s level/surpass Garp’s level on his quest to become Pirate King approaching the end of One Piece. But until then Garp is on a whole another level from Luffy and would defeat him once he got semi-serious/serious. It is also said that during Marineford,he was the strongest of the Marines there, and he would have murdered Akainu for what he did to Ace, but Sengoku had to hold him down in order to prevent him from murdering the most evil and vicious Admiral. And Garp allowed himself to be restrained because he knew he had a reputation to uphold as the Hero of the Marines. Plus given how powerful Garp is, both in the past and the present, it really shouldn’t be that easy to restrain him as Sengoku had done. That’s just how strong Garp is. The Hero of the Marines, Garp the Fist, is a mighty and formidable member of the Marines.

Haki is really powerful and makes the difference so far as being strong in one piece is concerned. The greatest marine Garp is a haki expert with no devil fruit power. The pirate King was a haki expert with no devil fruit power. That sums it up.

In harps defense he took zero damage when he was slashed by Morgan, a few seconds later he gets up and moves out showing nothing damaged him. Plus while he maybe a little past his prime he threw a cannon ball dang near the size of the straw hats ship at them the same speed as the little cannon balls. And no matter what anybody says he would have caught akinu off guard and killed him if sengoku didn’t stop him and keep him in place. Regardless garp looses against Blackbeard so idk guess we see what happens in the next few chapters.

Garp is a monster and Oda is about to confirm it! Look at the difference in perspective: the legend and feared by all even now Rayleigh, admits himself that he would be no match for Blackbeard 1v1, whereas Garp is launching a full on attack on his entire crew, on his own island... I believe Garp's strength is second only to Roger's, if not equal too. As always, great video boyz

Garp is currently being stalemated by Admiral Aokiji who is missing a legend and will still probably lose Old Rayleigh stalemated Admiral Kizaru Both are legends to be able to contend with admirals at their age, but if Garp was stronger than Whitebeard, he wouldn't be stalemated by an admiral

Black Beard is not the final antagonist in One Piece, he'd be a main character in one of the arcs Oda is hatching. Yes, Garp will be killed, and yes, Shanks will be killed as well - to thicken and heighten the plot to highlight Luffy's reason to go against powerful pirates and the World Government. Funny thing is, Luffy would probably spare the celestial dragons out of respect to his bloodline. Yeah yeah he punched a celestial dragon before but he has no idea yet of his bloodline. I'd give Black Beard the 3rd position from the final antagonist in the series.

2:39 Just my theory:- grap had a daughter which became a celestial dragon inherited by her mother😏.....Dragon is the son of Xebec who Garp brought in when he defeated Xebec, after bringing him, dragon trained and joined the marine. This is not completely my theory but just joining the points I picked up from different creators.

Quick theory: 3 powers loop theory. In every generation, there has to be 3 powers. An evil one (like Blackbeard or Rocks), a free one (like Roger or Luffy), and a marine (like Garp or Koby). The free one and the marine have to team up to defeat the evil one (shown with Roger and Garp Vs Rocks) so in the final saga Luffy and Koby will team up to defeat Blackbeard. This can also provide Imu's backstory, because there were no marines in Joyboy's time, so he couldn't team up with a marine to defeat Imu, leading to Joyboy's defeat. This can also tie into the concept of fate and destiny, while showing that history repeats itself. It could also mean that the reason Roger and Garp didn't beat Imu was because they were there at the wrong time and the One Piece wasn't there yet. The fact that Garp and Smoker are here could mean they can take out both Blackbeard AND Imu in this generation.
