@@redspear007 Brian confirmed on a stream that he was only the voice for Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2, it seems.

One of the cute details I love about this & the first 3 SMB console games is that if you look at the life icons when a monkey is losing their balance, the faces become sad. That’s so clever because you typically can’t see the Monkey’s face in their ball when you’re going forward. XD

I have the GCN version so I'll do it. Watch for it within the next few days.

I would've sunk my life savings on this machine... I love the GameCube games so much

One thing I will say, the SEGA board looks a lot more bland without the checkerboard on the logo....Why couldn't we have glass materials AND checkerboards? It's not like they hadn't done it before in the game. XP

This is quite difficult on the GameCube controller. You need to be patient and have precise control. Imagine trying this on the arcade! Heck, if stamina master existed on the arcade, it would be nearly impossible

What are the errors on the master stage? The stars in the path?

Jamal Mian So, in the Gc version, did they remove some bananas because of the inadequacy of the controller in perfectly substituting the banana controller? In other words, does the Gc version work as fine as the arcade (so we have less bananas for some other reason, not implicating interaction or gameplay quality) or they implemented some changes given that the stick is ipotetically a worst controller than the original, with whom you can't do some virtuosism and perform so well in order to collect all bananas? I hope that this is just an uncorrect thought, and the control stick works very well, so - let' say - they removed some bananas and apported some changes to the levels just in order to improve better features rather then adequate the game to a less valid system for a play with it. By the way, i do own theGc version. But i can suppose that, if they removed bananas, it is just because it would have been too difficult to achieve all of them with that analogic system replicating the precision of the banana controller (sure that's definitely another feel).

Whatever you can configure. Hell you could even use a Gamecube controller if you got the adapter for it.

I can’t be the only one who thinks that Expert 7 (6 in Deluxe) should be between 40-50 in Smb 1 and 80-90 in Smb Deluxe. It’s way too hard to be this early in the Expert run imo. It’s way harder than at least 30 of the other expert stages. :( I know it’s called Exam C in Deluxe. I wonder why master 3/13 isn’t called Exam Master. 🤔

Exam C was made slightly easier by the timer being 90 sec. instead of 60.

Yes and no. Mame doesn't seem compatable with NAOMI(the software that Monkey Ball uses), but Demul(a Dreamcast Emulator) is compatable with NAMOI. So that will work.

did you know the clear score you get for finishing a stage is actually how much time you have left? when they finish a stage, look at the timer, then look at the "clear score"
