Hi Deekshith, Thanks for such infomative video. How can we monitor logs of application running inside container ? For example, I have angular app running inside nginx and I require to monitor access.log and error.log logs of nginx. I read that cAdvisor can be used for container specific metrics using prometheus.

This Grafana is quite old. Do you have grafana queries on CPU and memory for pods on kubernetes?

when i restart docker "systemcl restart docker": error: "Job for docker.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status docker.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details. " Failed to start Docker Application Container Engine.

Does the daemon only sends our docker metrics? What about the servers hosting the docker metrics? Does the docker metric breakdown like cpu by containers or memory by containers?

Yes, when we change configurations in daemon.json it sends metrics on particular endpoint with mentioned port, yes we can have the metrics related to machine hosting docker but for that you need to install node exporter, i have video on that please do watch it kzread.info/dash/bejne/eWmV1I-epqqwqqg.html Does the docker metric breakdown like cpu by containers or memory by containers? i never faced this scenario, but i guess metrics are sent by daemon so metrics doesn't breakdown if container fails

It will monitor docker metrics, if you want monitor application metrics then you have to have application end point by which prometheus can scrape the data

Instead of giving permission to all IP's(0.0.0.0:port) we can give only our system IP it will accept

**urgent** how to get IP address to access prometheus? localhost:9090 is showing prometheus UI but metrics are not there..
