Monitor Water Quality with a 3D Printed RC Utility Boat
I've had a lot of requests to release the files for my 3D printed radio controlled utility boat. I finally found the time to refine them and I've also produced a Build Guide to go with them. At this stage the files and guide are only for the hull and drive system (pretty much the boat in the first few shots of this video). If there is enough interest, I will also release the files for the modular deck and water sampling system.
You can grab them on Thingiverse:

This channel is severely underrated
Really cool water toy!
Some gorgeous footage at the start there
very cool
Hey I really want to thank you for your enthusiasm! I built a sonar boat (about 6 now) back in 2015 and kept on running into issues. First was boogie board pulled behind kayak, second was PVC tubes that looked like a pond skipper insect that liked to leak, third was balsa covered in fiberglass that cracked if you looked at it dirty, 4th was 3D printed single hull that I could not fit all the components in. After a few more designs, I lost my interest until watching your videos just now! I have all my components with me and would love to re visit a cat design.
Love this channel
any chance you are willing to sell this system?
Hi, id love to chat with you for a few minutes about the water sampling boat idea, i see you're in Albury, do you have anything to do with firetail robotics??
