what can I use without rum

You can use more soda water and lemon juice ;) Alternatively, if you want to add a 'rum' taste to your drink, pour some of our MONIN Caribbean syrup. Instead of 50ml of rum (in this recipe), try just 20ml of the Caribbean syrup if you don't want to make the drink too sweet.

Is the syrup just infused with mint or is it also lime? Trying to use it with lemon for a peach tea mojito.

Hi, sorry for the confusion. Although this syrup is called "Mojito Mint", it is only replicating the mint flavour, not the rest of a mojito's flavour profile- so no lime.

That is perfect! Exactly want I was hoping for! Trying to have enough fresh mint for our wedding is a nightmare. We have 10 mint plants as is and still not enough

Did you not mash the leaves on purpose (just like proper mojitos should be done) just to create a reason to use monin mojito syrup? pathetic..

The leaves were mashed with a spoon, in this video. The use of this syrup in this cocktail helps in combining the sugar element with the desired minty taste. Sometimes, the quality of fresh mint varies and their taste may not be as flavourful as desired, or may add bitterness from the stems. If you are lucky enough to get top quality mint every time, you can use the MONIN Pure Cane Sugar syrup instead for this recipe. To ensure stable spearmint flavour, we recommend the Mojito Mint syrup like in the video. This product was created in response to high customer demand, and has been designed for many other uses in cocktails and soft drinks! ;)

MONIN UK No, they were "massaged" with the spoon, and lime juice was squeezed separately in order to avoid actually mashing the mint with lime and sugar, as it is supposed to be, again, making your syrup abundant. So again, youre intentionally butchering a classical simple cocktail recipe in order to justify your syrup, eventhough the barteneder already has all the components to make it properly (unless he is missing any actual sugar), id understand if someone had no mint and sugar, to use your syrup, but not this. FYI I use your syrups, the ones i cant make myself and theyre very solid, however this skit is malicious.

@@ethrez you're very rude for someone who says things like "making your syrup abundant" and "classical simple". Why don't you go back to school and learn some grammar and sentence structure before you try to educate a business on what products they can and can't sell. They wouldn't create a syrup without a demand for it and they don't have to justify themselves to someone as uneducated and rude as you.
