I cannot imagine the worldwide humiliation, ridicule, and torment she faced. I was a teen when it happened, and it was absolutely relentless. A weaker person may very well have offed themselves. Glad she not only survived but thrived. Go Monica!

I call it self-abandonment. I appreciate Monica's work on this topic. If you're going to be a leader, the first person you have to lead is yourself. And that means giving up the habit of saying things to yourself that you would never dream of saying to another person.

As someone who experienced bullying in grammar school I really appreciate the work Monica Lewinsky has been doing. Bullying is an epidemic but it doesn't get the attention it should and it can leave scars. And self bullying is also bad and thank you Monica for continuing to shed a light on this important topic.

She has more than faced up and paid for her past mistakes like we all have but she has done it on a worldwide scale with such intense scrutiny and being made the butt of the joke and not only survived but is now thriving. Go girl! You totally got this!!! 💕💕💕

I always thought that Monica, while responsible for her own actions, was the real victim in the Clinton scandal…she was barely an adult. She suffered more than anyone. But she has been, as others have said, an incredible example of using that mistake to grow up, learn and understand herself and turn her life into something powerful, purposeful and beautiful. Way to go Monica.

I actually felt kinda sorry for her when this happened. Yes, she was a willing participant but the punishment didn't fit the crime. Extramarital affairs are extremely common inside-the-beltway. (I grew up in that toxic town and saw it all the time.) The main difference is that Bill and Monica got caught. She didn't deserve that immense amount of global shaming for it.

My friends and I did a lot of stupid crap in our 20s, but none of us ever went after a married man/woman because we knew that was a no-no and just asking for a mess. I roll my eyes when people argue that she was "naiive" and "impressionable"....girl was 22. Clinton was also the 2nd married man she sought after, so girl had a track record and clearly some daddy issues. She also kept the blue dress, so yeah, she knew what she was doing. The only person I feel sorry for in this scenario is Chelsea.
