damn my mom is mongolian but i never learn how to speak in mongolian or to read. i've been to mongolia this summer to see my family and i was so ashamed about the fact that i wasn't able to communicate correctly with them... then i found your chanel and thanks a lot (like really hahahaa). Thanks. Although I already know this. I love that there is a channel that is teaching Mongolian. Since I left Mongolia many years ago, keeping up on my language was very difficult.

Of course these videos will still be useful but I wonder if this text will become outdated once Bicig is more commonly reimplemented. I recently wanted to start learning Mongolian but I wonder if I should wait to see how the reform works out, which is why I haven't spent the time learning Cyrillic alphabet. Anyone's thoughts ?

There is no point in waiting for the language to change. I am sure you will be understood in any case.

Most people in Mongolia don't know the original script and use Cyrillic for everyday life. This isn't going to change all of the sudden just because of the new policy.
