This place is called "Hamriin Hiid". It is located 30 kilometers south of the city Sain-Shand, the center of the Dornogobi (Vostochno-Gobiiskii aimag). This is a holy place where 5th Hutagt Danzanravjaa, the top lama of the Red Hat branch of Tibetan Buddhism in Mongolia, set up his Buddhist Temple! He built many new things like first civilian-religious school for both boys and girls, first nomadic musical-dramatic theater in the Gobi, printing shop where they printed Buddhist sutras and so on. Now days, it is a very important center for Buddhist pilgrimages as well as domestic and foreign tourists! Thank you!
