I’m from Oba and I’ll say categorically that this is highly disgraceful. The need to show ones wealth suggests an insecurity in the person. It is people who had nothing that feel the need show off. The likes of Bill Gates, Elon Musk etc will never spray money in such manner. Oba is a place crying for regeneration. This money should be used to better the lives of the locals rather than showing off. This behaviour puts one’s family at risk and encourages innocent young men to seek to make money at all cost including becoming criminals.
