This is good, I really need to get out of debt and I feel so many people struggle with debt college educated professionals because we have a career and good job we spend more we over spend getting into debt and my student loans is my biggest debt killing me, I desperately need to pay off managing money is essential saving is most essential because we gotta have cushion for the unexpected changes in life unemployed, health crisis, car damages etc.

I have a Question Ashley. This was Awesome I needed this. So how can one budget on a fix income? An save enough every month. Especially if they are regaining their life back and going to school again at the age of 46yrs old for their career path?

Hey Hun! Unless you have a commission based job, most people are budgeting a fixed income. It doesn’t mean you can never make more money. It just means that for that particular income stream the amount you can make is set for the moment. You’re budgeting the same way someone with a salary would budget. Write down all of your monthly expenses & everything that you spend monthly that are outside of those expenses & subtract it from your monthly income. If it’s negative, you’re spending too much. Only you will know if you’re happy with the number you get from that equation. If it’s positive, I would designate that money to a particular goal. It could be a savings goal, investment goal, etc. Good luck with everything!
