First of all, the stepson should’ve never been involved in the conversation. He was trying to avoid it all together. Believe it or not, men don’t have to support the sisterhood. Second, his mother won’t listen to him, regardless. She’s not even listening to the judge. She has made up in her mind what she is going to do. So don’t throw that off on the step son. Mom is in for the money too.

I definitely believe that Mrs. Brooks needs therapy, and I also believe she’s not fighting against tradition from where she came from. Mr. Brooks is not a sexaholic. His wife underwent serious surgery and recovery…. He checked out. Now maybe he checked out before her health concerns, but it doesn’t seem to be so. Therapy needs to start there. It sounds like he jumped around to different women to get whatever he deemed as needs to be met, but I don’t think he knows what he feels and that is never really explored. He was very despondent and check out his affect… That health issue affected him in ways he cannot describe.
