Ancient town of the Baix Empordà in the region of Girona Costa Brava with a lot of magic as its old town is preserved in very good condition. It stands out for the large number of arcades under the houses that make walking through the streets an interesting experience.
The town has also become known for the filming of “Ocho apellidos Catalanes” directed by Emilio Martínez-Lázaro and starring Dani Rovira, Clara Lago, Karra Elejalde, Carmen Machi, Berto Romero and Rosa Maria Sardà among others.
Today it is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
